We recently moved to OK from TX and had to find a new place. We had heard good things about Animal Boarding Center on Tuttle Talk on Facebook. So we checked them out. And we are super happy with them. They are good with my dogs; they have several fenced in areas so they can let different groups of dogs out at various times for playtime. My dogs get to meet other dogs through the fence, which is good for their social interaction. They don't go often as I work from home and they spend time with me, but we like to let them have some stimulating play away from home so they can experience different sights and smells. The price is super reasonable, Kim and Ronnie are great with all the dogs, and my dogs, Taco and Bella, are always excited when we pull up out front. We love that we can see photos of their time at "camp," as we call it, the next day on FB. We will definitely keep coming back.

I recently went out of town for a week and I needed a place to take my very active dog. She loves socialization and I knew a kennel would not be a great place for her. I loved that you have to have a demeanor test for your dog before you can schedule day care or boarding. I felt safe knowing that they screened other dogs to make sure they weren't aggressive. I think it was really cool that they put them in play groups depending on their size and activity level. There were a lot of things for the little dogs to play on and a nice big area for them to run outside. They have pools for them to play in the water if the weather is nice. The owner is very nice and the staff was very helpful and didn't get annoyed when i called several times to check on my furbaby. They were honest and told me my dog wasn't eating well the first day, but reassured me that was very normal. When I called the next day they told me she was doing much better and was eating normally again. They definitely could have just left that out but, I appreciated that they told me the truth. Of course she was happy to come home, but I think she really enjoyed being there.

Upon walking into the store, your going to feel pretty claustrophobic, since this place is very small, and the little room it does have is occupied by plants, and chairs. Its nice to know your groomer is good tho, which is apparent since she has tons of awards hung on her wall. When I first walked in, I found the only employee on site was the owner herself, which personally i found refreshing. (I love when the owners themselves help me, since its their name on whatever their selling, they usually do the best) So whenever you stop buy, It will be the owner your talking too, and the owner grooming your dog. I found from talking to her, that she used to do grooming for popular dog shows and events; which explained how she knew so much. Its appointment only, but sometimes if you walk in she'll make space for you. She had my dog all ready within hours. Her prices are pretty affordable, and considering her past experience reasonable. I was very very happy wit how my dog ended up looking. The only down side of Putnam Paws is how small it is inside, but as said in other reviews, you can't judge a book by it's cover.
