One side was glued onto my hair and I had to pull my hair out to get it off. I wanted to send a note to her on their website but they don't provide that option. Scalp New England…read more Location: The office is close to the highway and it easily accessible, there is plenty of parking. Office/practice: Modern, clean and private. Technician: Brian is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Professional, personable, have lots of patience. Brian is one of those people who have a positive attitude all the time. My experience: Brian is super clean and organized, he wears gloves every time he has to touch your head and everything he is using is sterilized and high quality. He asked me a lot of questions about the look I'm looking for and after he drew the hairline we made some minor tweaks and finalized the expectations. Some people say the procedure is painful, some say it isn't. The only way I can describe it is that it's less painful than a tattoo (if you had a tattoo) but it gets to you after a while (for me it was on the 3rd and final pass of the first session). Your head gets a bit red, some areas more than others, but it doesn't hurt. It is important to keep your head clean and moist in order to avoid infections and dryness, so follow Brian's aftercare instructions. Between my first and second session I communicated with Brian to let him know how I was progressing and he was kind enough to answer all my questions and calm me down a bit. Side note here, if you are not picky, you become picky and even if you are not a person who checks the mirror a lot be ready to become friends with all the mirror in the house. On my second session, Brian addressed all the adjustments I have requested with the same smile and same positive attitude. He added some density and tweaked my hairline. After the second session you get a better picture of what the final results would be but there is still a lot of room for improvement, especially if you are a bit obsessive as I am. Do not worry if you see something you need adjusted, Brian will smile and adjust it for you. His goal as he told me a number of times is to make his customers happy and create a look that "works" for them and their face. On my 3rd session he added some pigment and filled some areas where I manage to remove the pigment by rubbing it a bit too hard. I'm now taking 2 weeks off before seeing him again for the last time because I need to heal and let the pigment settle a bit. Overall this has been a fantastic experience. Brian is not only a nice guy he is the best SMP technician in Massachusetts and if you see his work up close as I have you are going to trust him with your look. He understands your needs because he has been in your shoes and he will do whatever possible to please you. He is a skilled technician and I have no regrets trusting him with my look.
