I tried to trust the process because I figured he's been doing hair long enough and he charges high enough to know what he's doing but it doesn't really seem like there's much thought to how he cuts hair, he just cuts it. I asked for something close to a bob and he told me my hair wasn't far off from that and instead of cutting it level while slightly laying the sides and back he cuts the whole entire back at an angle and gave me almost a pixie cut with long strands in the front/a karen cut. There's absolutely no way he thinks it turned out good, i'm sure he was just trying to convince me it looked okay so i wouldn't be upset and i'd pay him full price. Now i'm going to have to waste 3 months waiting for it to grow out to a decent length.

I booked my appointment a week in advance with ease. The day of my appointment I was running late but they were really nice and did not make a fuss of it. I had the pleasure of having Malik style my pixie. I didn't have to wait more than 5-10 minutes to sit in his chair. He briefly examined the condition of my hair and asked me of my expectations. He was really hilarious. He had me laughing throughout my service. The atmosphere almost feels like you're sitting in your auntie's living room listening to gossip and good music. I normally wear my pixie for a few days before changing into braids or a wig but it's been over 2 weeks and I'm still wearing it. It seems to get better and better as the days go on. I was treated for vein removal for broken capillaries on my legs and face by Jessica. The treatment was very quick. I won't say it was completely pain-free, but it was tolerable. Kind of like being snapped with a rubber band over and over. I also got IPL on my face. This is not my first time having laser vein removal or IPL, but it was the most effective. I actually walked out of there noticing a huge difference. These veins around my nose that have been bothering me for years are gone!
