Baoku is a fine acupuncturist if you only want 15 minutes of needles that will not really help you. I got 15-20 minutes of acupuncture and then a half hour of moist heat, which I could have done myself at home. For $200 and $125. So, this is not value and not a real treatment. I needed much more time with the needles.
Second, HIS STAFF IS UTTERLY DISRESPECTFUL and atrocious in the extreme. Not nice, no personality.
I have never actually been attacked by office staff but I was attacked by Baoku's beastly female office assistant, an unattractive fat dark Chinese woman who insisted that I had not paid enough when her own staff told me the fee was $125. She attacked me, yelled at me, pointed her finger in my face, and if I had not paid in advance I would have punched her lights out and left.
This was because I paid $125 instead of $130 for the appointment, which is WHAT I WAS TOLD OVER THE PHONE BY THEIR STAFF. SHE ATTACKED ME OVER A $5 DIFFERENCE and THEIR OWN ERROR.
Instead of accepting their atrocious staff's error LIKE A PROFESSIONAL, she insisted that I pay and when I said I would do it for the next appointment, this was not good enough. She told me to shut up and thretened even to call the cops on me.
I should have called the cops on her at that point or used my police baton on her ugly fat and stupid face. She deserves a good punch in the face and maybe she will get one.
But because I had already paid, I would not leave and maintained my appointment and then left after. It only took about a half hour for the actual treatment, which is not long enough. I myself am a student acupuncturist and I know what is a good treatment. I have been getting acupuncture for 15 years at least.
I had to ask Baoku again to work on what I originally asked for, which was not what I got on the first treatment, or I would not have gone back.
THIS WAS AFTER WAITING A HALF HOUR FOR THE TREATMENT. I WASTED MY WHOLE DAY ON THIS APPOINTMENT WITH THE COMMUTE AND IT WAS NOT WORTH IT AND UPSET ME GREATLY. THEY SHOULD REFUND ME BUT THEY ARE MONEY GRUBBERS HERE SO NO WAY.
OVERPRICED. RUDE. AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS. STAFF DESERVES TO BE DEPORTED. I AM THINKING OF SUING THEM HONESTLY. read more
