In addition to her amazing talent as a makeup artist, Ashley gave me recommendations for hair stylists and spray tans when I asked, created a whole day-of timeline for getting ready, had tons of tips for what was important and what was not, and became my stepdaughter's new best friend. :) Ashley was also transparent about a difficult situation she was in when I first inquired, and it never showed in her professionalism and preparedness. On the day, she took me aside for a moment to give me a chance to breathe - it felt like having a big sister there to calm you down. I was so appreciative of how thoughtful that moment was. He fried and totally damaged my hair to the root. Healthy hair, ruined in one appointment. When I confronted him, zero remorse -- he told me it "looked fine." He refunded my money, but no refund fixes this. I've since been to several other professional salons and spent $1,000's of dollars hoping for a miracle. Every one of them was devastated for me -- there was nothing they could do. I told the owner, Lauren, what happened. She said she'd talk to him. Then silence. No follow-up, nothing. The only person who stepped up? My longtime colorist, who offered me free haircuts and moisture treatments out of her own pocket. I couldn't let her pay for what the salon and Ryan should have made right themselves. Shame on Ryan and shame on the owners. If you're considering any chemical service here, run.
