How can SCC be less than 5-Stars here? This is appalling. When I started chiropractic care at SCC it only made sense to have my family checked. My wife and I sat across from Dr. Jenny to review the x-ray images of our children when suddenly a revelation flashed before us. We were given an answer to our prayers. Our daughter Sarah had been an amazing gift to us. She was the sweetest girl from the very start. Nine years old at the time she had periodically become ill. I had carried her into the hospital for multi-day stays recovering from severe kidney infections too many times. While at the hospital they would defeat the infection and bring her back from it. During that time we spoke with some of the top specialists. I'd ask them why this kept happening. Why are her kidneys continually getting infected? And they would shrug their shoulders. They hadn't a clue as to why. These doctors saved our daughter. I don't know what we would have done without them. But we remained perplexed and concerned. Now we were sitting with Dr. Jenny. She was showing us images of Sarah's spine. Dr. Jenny's focus was on a particular major subluxation (misalignment). We looked at a chart of the human spine with text labels showing the nerve system and where certain parts of the body can be affected by interference in the vertebrae in certain places. Dr. Jenny showed us the subluxation on the x-ray, identifying the area. We looked at the chart and followed it across. The first word there was KIDNEYS. My wife and I just looked at each other wide-eyed in hope and amazement. The family started care that day. Sarah grew up strong and brilliant. Twenty-four years later Sarah is a Supermom and a budding accomplished career woman. Her two very well adjusted daughters were checked by Dr. Jenny shortly after birth and pretty much weekly ever since so their bodies can develop without any invisible interference from a misaligned spine. Dr. Jenny's practice has grown since then and only in wonderful ways. The people are the best. They join a culture that is warm, caring, and professional. They are all very good at what they do. Dr Jenny....has been an amazing addition to our lives. We started out with her when my oldest daughter was in high school after years and years of tests and many prescriptions from many traditional doctors and treating her for autoimmune deficiencies another patient of Dr Jenny convinced us to see a chiropractor namely Dr Jenny. After just two treatments we started to see benefits and continued treatment. Then, my second daughter suffered not one but 2 concussions resulting in a traumatic brain injury and chronic headaches. Dr Jenny and her massage therapists have significantly helped my daughter get back to every day living. Neurologists kept throwing medication after medication to treat the symptoms and never treated the cause. Dr Jenny educated us on how Chiropractic manipulation along with massage could help with the headaches. After seeing such great results with my two daughters, I started seeing Dr Jenny myself. I had been in a very serious motorcycle accident resulting in several broken ribs and a punctured lung and had spent two years with chronic pain in my back and ribs. I spoke with Dr Jenny and she encouraged me to take some X-rays so she could look at the surgical hardware in my rib cage and encouraged me to allow her to put her hands on me. As I was already in pain, I was timid but I gave in and boy am I glad I did. She took it slow and explained everything she was doing and really paid attention to what I needed and I can now say I live virtually pain free. When I do heavy work or lifting I can feel my ribs getting out of line, a quick stop in to Dr Jenny's for an adjustment puts me back on track and back to life. For the past 30 years, I've worked for a large science-based company. I believe strongly in evidence-based medicine. So, chiropractic care has been something I've always been wary about. As a result, I've bounced around many chiropractors over the years. There is good evidence that spinal manipulation therapy (SMT) is effective for patients with low back pain. There is controversial evidence of lesser quality supporting the use of manipulation for neck pain, but the reality is that science is catching-up with chiropractic care, particularly for low back pain. Here at SCC Dr. Jenny provides exceptional chiropractic care to me in that regard. She has even greatly improved my chronic neck pain, where current data is less certain. She and her staff are positive, optimistic and warm people. You feel welcome there and they bend-over-backwards to get you a last-minute appointment. I highly recommend this practice, especially in light of emerging evidence-based science validating SMT as an important component of cervical spine care. I have recently switched chiropractors to Dr Jenny at first for convince of location for me and my commute, I am so glad I did !!! I was very impressed from the minute I walked in! Her staff if pleasant, cheerful and very welcoming by greeting everyone by name. The office space is clean and inviting. Dr Jenny herself is warm, friendly and truely cares about her patients, I can see it in how she interests with people and she really listens to them. She is a big supporter of education as a key to success in the healing process and does an excellent job of sharing her knowledge with her patients through formal worships and in her conversations with patients. Her practice is designed to efficiently keep track of patients progress and answer any questions you have along the way. I love the staff I love that they feel like family and friends. They treat everyone with kindness and respect. They're very organized and welcoming. Time for another great review for SCC! I have been seeing all of the doctors here for many years. It is unlike any other chiropractor office I have seen. Vitality and wellness are their goals for their patients. Presently I am seeing Dr Victoria weekly. Being a migaineur for many, many years, she has the ' magic touch' in order to release the pressure in my head and neck. I don't know what I would do without her, Dr Jenny, and Dr Don. I had been dealing with significant plantar fasciitis for a few years and was unable to run, much less walk without pain. I tried PT, inserts, stretches and nothing seemed to help. Dr. Lou began adjusting my foot/ankle weekly and within a few months the pain was gone and I was able to return to running!
