I have never thought I would say I missed a doctor and their staff! But today I can say I TOTALLY MISS EVERYONE AT SCENT! I was USAF at Edwards AFB and I had allergies for 25 years. I'm allergic to just about everything 2 PAGES worth.... I wasn't able to breathe out of my left nostril for about 20 years. I had so many polyps in my nasal cavities that it was the worst they've even seen. I had a nasal plaste, sinus balloon dilation, and they removed 100% of all the polyps! The Air Force had me living in areas that I was allergic to EVERYTHING special in areas of farmlands. And after 26 years I can breathe normal and get a great night sleep! The people were very nice when I walked in, so that gets a star, as was the lady (Gisela) who checked my ears, but it went a bit downhill from there. They were pushy and wanted me to see another doctor after the doctor. It was expensive and they said I had to pay all expenses up front. My husband needs a polyp removed from his nose. We saw Dr. Mancuso and was extremely unhappy with this physician. He is a terrible doctor. I tried to change to another provider and they said I had to see Dr, Mancuso or I couldn't be seen by their office. What a joke. I guess they don't want my business. My husbands Oncologist told us to go to Dr. Vadapalli and they wouldn't let me make an appointment with him. You can only change doctors once. The Lancaster office must be a side business for the doctors. Appointments are cancelled on a regular basis. The front desk is totally unprofessional. I feel like I'm dealing with high school dropouts. They will put you on hold for 5 to 10 minuets and then disconnect you. Then you have to start all over with the answering machine and get in line again. And you can forget about any response from their website. This is NOT a professional organization. read more

I went for ear wax removal on two occasions in 2022 and was charged $450 per visit. In 2019 I had ear wax removed and was only charged $100. When I asked what all the extra charges were they were very vague and said they were normal charges. A few years back I noticed that I was having more trouble understanding conversations; my primary care doctor recommend that I get my hearing checked and suggested SC ENT. I made an appointment at the Palmdale facility, and got my hearing checked. After conferring with the Doctor, it was suggested that I meet with the Hearing Aid Dispenser. I met with Sadie Pacino. After a very pleasant conversation; Sadie asking me question to determine my reason for getting aids and my general life style, she asked me if my cell phone was an I-Phone or Android. I had no idea that hearing aids connect to your cell phone, and at the time, not all aids connected to all phones. Based on our conversation she recommended a set of aids; rechargeable was about my only request. I return every six-months to have my aids checked and serviced. Sadie is always pleasant, friendly, attentive, courteous, and very professional, answers all of my questions. I am very pleased and satisfied with the service I receive from Sadie and the entire staff at SC ENT, Palmdale. I have recommended friends to get their hearing checked at SC ENT. I have had my hearing aids for almost three-years now, I am very please with them. I have friends and family members that have aids, however, for whatever reason they don't wear them. I talked with Sadie about this, she told me that she might be able to check medicare and veteran aids to see if they are programed for your hearing. Get yours checked. read more

Miscommunication, unprofessionalism. My doctor referred me to SCENT for vertigo. I was given an appointment and discovered that they wanted to do a hearing test, but since I couldn't due to impacted wax, the appointment was rescheduled for an extraction first...3 weeks later I arrived to my appointment and was called into the back office to get a hearing test...I was perflexed and asked why I wasn't seeing the doctor first to clean my ear/s. I felt dizzy and was sent back out into the waiting room. 1+ hour/s later, I was called back ,Dr. Robert Manusco came into the room, I was trying to explain to him that I was feeling dizzy and wanted to reschedule, due to not feeling well. I'm sure I was displaying anxiety, etc... He became frustrated with me and asked me if I have a Mental illness?! :o I said I am feeling anxious, I tried to explain, but he asked me to go/leave, and as Dr. Robert Manusco was exiting the examination room, he said something..which I couldn't understand/hear, so I asked him to repeat what he said and that's when Dr. Robert Manusco YELLED at me" I said, Have a good day" the staff looked up and I felt extremely uncomfortable. This review is for Dr.Mancuso. He has great bed side manner and is very kind and patient with his patients, he even gave my toddler a lollipop during my visit. I've suffered from allergies and have severe congestion. He ordered a CT scan and figured out what was causing my symptoms. He suggested non invasive treatment first and gave me a plan of action. Unfortunately, my family and I had to move out of state last minute and I'm sad to lose a great doctor. I completely recommend him. On a side note, I do wish the office could change the way they charge people. I had to make a couple calls and wait a few weeks to get reimbursed because they charge upfront and then reimburse you but you have to stay on top of it. read more

I was having a issue with hearing and my ear got closed off. Dr Vadapalli was whom I was sent to , but he wasn't in for a few weeks, and I needed to be seen. I was scheduled with Dr. Saadat and he was very welcoming and on top of his game. So my appt was made, they checked my insurance while I was waiting on the phone while they checked, and then my appt was set. The day of my appt I showed up a little early for paperwork. Once I handed it back they asked for my copay and I handed them a check pre filled out and ready to go. But NO, they won't take your check, IT HAS TO BE CASH. WTH!! So between my purse and car I put it together and moved on. The audiologist and Dr Saadat were awesome and then a revisit was set to see if things improved. For my second appointment I knew to bring cash, but then the girl checking me in tells me I have a balance from my first visit and it needs to be paid before I'm seen. EXCUSE ME!! I hadn't even been billed yet, and she had no problem telling me that SHE WAS TELLING ME ABOUT IT!! Plus it had to be paid in cash. So I put my stuff together and told her to cancel my appointment and walked out. Once back in my car car I ended up calling the other office to get some clarity over this cash crap along with the billing bs. The billing department(Susan) understood my concerns and also realized I had yet to be billed. Needless to say, that was my final visit to ANY of these doctors or medical practices. And by the end of the day(I was back in the area) I dropped off my final payment in check form and all ties are cut.. read more

Called to make an appt, ask for any dr except Dr Friedman. She asked why, I responded I had him a fee yrs ago while having a sinus issue and all he did was look up my nose and said there was nothing wrong. She said OK. A few days later the office called to change my appt time which was OK, upon arrival the day of She was checking me in and said OK your seeing dr Friedman. I said NO I am not and told her how I made the appt and she said non chalontly OH when they changed the time they must have changed the dr. I said that's my problem. She said we can't see you today we have to put in a change of dr form but it will be OK since both the dr you were supposed to see and dr Friedman are her to sign off on the request. I was pretty annoyed since I had been waiting a couple months dealing with my sinuses. First ER THEN 3 WEEKS TO SEE MY DR THEN ANOTHER 3 WEEK FO AUTHORIZATION TO COME HERE just to be sent away for their front office mistake. They were to call me the next day to set up new appt nothing until today three weeks later to tell me they don't take High Desert anymore. I was referred from my primary Dr. to this office for one side ear ring or noise but I was disappointed with everything because the first day after I spoke with the doctor they gave me an appointment after one month to have a hearing test and even after they tested I was supposed to see a doctor that same day but for some reason the doctor wasn't available and audiologist gave me the results but she told me that the results is supposed to be reviewed by the doctor and he will call me the same day and he will let you know the next step but nobody called and I called to the office but the receptionist just left a messages for the doctor but I haven't heard nothing I feel they just like collecting money more than they help people. I don't have hearing problems but they don't even know what's going on with my ear and I don't recommend anyone to this office read more

The day before my appointment I received an appointment reminder. The reminder had the right date but a different time. Called and they said I was on schedule for a later time. Questioned it and was told to come in at my earlier time and they would fit me in (fit me in to my original appointment). Arrived ten minutes early and sat there for forty minutes. I asked how much longer and was told the Doctor was running behind and there were 4 people ahead of me. Didn't take a mathematician to figure out I was being stalled to the later time they had changed me to. Not the first time they've changed times without calling to ask if I could come in at the new time. This office is just after your money. Every patient they push to have a hearing test to prolonged your visit so that they could collect more money. They don't look on your complain they just look on how they will prolong you coming back in the office to collect more money. They recommend surgery without any findings for them to get more money. I was prescribed with medicine that don't really help. Other regular Dr. Can see the problem than the Dr. On this office. I would not trust this office. read more

I am not sure where to start I feel like they just take the insurance money without resolving the problem, after the Audiologist check my results for my ear testing I was supposed to see the doctor the same day about the result but she told me the doctor will call me the same day to tell me what will be the next step but no one called me to tell me what's going on with my ear it's almost 3 weeks. I call the office and told her that the doctor suppose to call me the same day to tell me the next step but she said she will leave a message for the doctor. And still, no response from the doctor this is sad because my primary doctor refers me to the specialist but you never get the result of what's going on with your pain.
