Esto es una absoluta vergüenza de servicio. Son groseros, te cobran por cosas que no necesitas solo para sacarte dinero. Y además de eso, se molestan si haces preguntas o si rechazas algunos medicamentos que claramente no necesitas. Si estás en una necesidad urgente de atención médica, terminarás pagando más de $300+ por tu visita. Mi experiencia en esta ubicación fue una vergüenza. Me sorprendió muchísimo que una clínica/doctora tratara así a sus pacientes. Me mudé aquí aproximadamente tres semanas antes de enfermarme y necesitar atención médica urgente. Mi mamá me habló de esta clínica, dijo que me verían de inmediato pero que tendría que pagar. Me arriesgué porque realmente necesitaba atención médica. Entré y esperé 15 minutos para que me pasaran, y otros 30 minutos para que me viera la doctora. Me atendió la Dra. Yasmin Funes en esta ubicación. Al principio estuvo bien, me preguntó si prefería inglés o español, le dije que "cualquiera está bien" y comenzó a hablarme en español, pero fingía tener dificultad para explicarme su diagnóstico. Sacaba su celular para traducir en Google palabras como "blanco", como si no supiera cómo decirlo. Eso me desconcertó porque esta clínica es predominantemente hispana, diría que el 90% de los pacientes y trabajadores hablan español. Fue un intento muy triste de parecer más americana que hispana, pero entendí que es muy joven, a mediados de sus 20s, y que a veces la gente hace ese tipo de cosas. Le dije entonces que podía hablarme en inglés, para que me diera el diagnóstico con claridad. Hasta ahí todo bien, aunque un poco incomodo pero chistoso. Luego me dijo que creía que tenía faringitis estreptocócica (strep throat) y me recetó medicamentos. Yo no tenía esos síntomas y le pregunté si creía que era adecuado. Ahí fue cuando todo se vino abajo. Subió la voz con un tono condescendiente y comenzó a regañarme, como si le hubiera ofendido mi pregunta. Me dijo que iba a recetarme tres tipos de antibióticos más esteroides, o que podía hacerme una prueba y regresar en cinco días para obtener el medicamento correcto. En ese momento necesitaba urgentemente antibióticos, así que acepté solo para poder sentirme mejor. Al salir, me retó a regresar a decirle que ella estaba equivocada si no me sentía mejor en unos días. Se fue de una manera absolutamente grosera. Tuve que pagar por tres tipos de antibióticos, una inyección de esteroides que no necesitaba, y una prueba que aún hasta el día de hoy no me han llamado para darme los resultados. La conclusión es que te recetan todo lo que pueden según sus capacidades, solo para sacarte dinero. Como dije, un mes después todavía no he recibido los resultados de la prueba que costó $50 dólares. This place should not be claiming its an affordable resource because its far from it. The person who saw me was kind but the prices here are off the walls. Not to mention they try to push unnecessary things like a swab test additional medicine like tylenol which im sure we all have available at home or for a cheaper price at a store! They said id get two shots and they only gave me one and although I asked if that one was both combined I still felt skeptical about it, i feel like i got tricked!! The total of this consultation with all the meds they suggested was $360.00 insane! After I told them to remove the unnecessary ones the price went down but was still overly priced. $235 for one shot, antibiotics and consultation!?!? I normally don't leave negative reviews but I have to this time. I came in to get my piercing checked for infection. When I arrived I informed the front desk lady that I didn't have a mask (I'm not opposed to wearing one). She just said sign in and what outside. When I was called in the nurse told me she couldn't see me if I didn't have a mask. Now if the front desk lady would have told me I wouldn't be seen i would have ran to cvs to buy a box of masks. How does a medical facility in especially a lower income neighborhood not provide masks? This review isn't about the actually physical service but rather the staff here. The worst clinic I have ever been to. I grew up uninsured and have been to many clinics. I took my mother in law because she is in the process of getting medi-cal but for now needed a place to get medical care. Our first interaction with provider Alma Chang left a bad impression. My mother in law has dementia and she was very rude and acted annoyed because my mother in law has difficulty answering questions. All I needed from these people was a simple form filled out so that she can go to adult day care as she is depressed at home since we work all day. I am a former LVN and currently a COTA/L this form was of the most simplistic format and all they wanted was a head to toe physical asking if her eyes, ears, nose, and throat were normal. Lung sounds , heart, and stomach sounded normal. A diagnosis which I provided from the county USC and a list of meds which I also provided. This turned out to be too difficult and they didn't want to be bothered with it. It's like any other form that would be needed for a school physical or employment which they do! For some reason we were out of their scope of practice? Even though Alma Chang who is a nurse practitioner not a doctor had looked over the forms at a prior visit and had agreed to fill it out the forms when we returned for TB results. We did pay for a physical. Lab work. And tb but for some reason she can only perform the physical and charge for it but not document it on a form? If ypu have patients with no prior history at the clinic you just send them away even though we literally had 200 pages of documentation from her hospital stay? Why waste my time if you wernt going to fill it out? Just to take our money?. I need to work and can not be going to the Dr for no reason. Being a caregiver for a disabled adult is financially, mentally and emotionally draining. If a simple form could have helped all of us why wouldn't you do it knowing you have the authority to do so. Isn't this why you became a nurse and then a nurse practitioner to help your community? Unless you have a cough and cold do not bother throwing your money at these glorified "doctors" as an LVN they are a disgrace to the nursing profession. Their education apparantly stops at cough and colds. My husband had previously gone for an eye problem and they also dismissed him basically saying she didn't know what he had and to try some drops and then $100. This place is very good at charging you for everything but yet do not provide any REAL medical help at all. No bed side manners, no actual knowledge of anything other than your basic illnesses and think they are helping the community. A joke and a disgrace they should be ashamed of themselves. They go into this profession to supposedly help but when someone actually asks for it they decline to sign a form that could literally change a person's life. I wouldn't step foot in there even if my eye ball was hanging out of my socket. They probably offer an EKG first and charge me for a physical and lab work and still disregard my eye ball. I could go on forever but honestly this place was a waste of time and money and then she filled out my IHSS form incorrectly. I asked if she could atleast write the diagnosis sinse she did sign this form, but where it said diagnosis she wrote needs a psych eval even though they wrote a prescription for her dementia previously based on her pill bottles and I had the hospital documentation with the diagnosis so I don't really see the problem. I was not asking for anything out of their abilities. Now she ruined the form and delayed services further. If she needed further confirmation she could have performed an MMSE which takes 10 mins and she could have seen for her self that she has difficulty with her memory. read more

This is the worst place I have ever visited in my whole life, I went there because I don't have insurance and I needed medicine for high blood pressure, I called that clinic ahead of time asking that I only needed a prescription and they told me that it was ok, once I was there while the nurse was taking my vital signs I told her the reason I was there and after 3 hours of waiting the supposed doctor entered who was a PA (physician Assistant) I told her why I was there and I showed her the bottle of my medicine I am taking and she told me that she won't going to give me anything without making me a physical exam first, I told her that my pressure I was at 115/74 when her nurse took it which is normal and a physical exam is not need to get a prescription for high blood pressure medication what she didn't know is that I am a medical assistant so I knew what I was talking about. Her name is CARMEN BRITO and she is very rude and unprofessional wihtout any moral ethic her apperance is ugly and her costumer service is real bad I won't recommend this place to anyone. STAY AWAY!!!! from this place she just want to take your money by making unnecesary exams. STAY AWAY FROM THAT PLACE!!! I usually don't leave reviews, but this place is awesome. My mom had covid and was doing really bad, her oxygen went down to 81 and she was having trouble breathing. We got there and the nurses took her vitals and gave her medicine right away. Then Dr. Funes prescribed the right medicine and by the next day my mom's oxygen was normal. The place is really clean and the staff is very polite and professional. Price is reasonable too. read more

Do not go here!!! Doctor's are a joke. My brother went in on Tuesday they did a urinalysis the Doctor stated she didn't find anything and asked my brother what he thought the problem can be. She gave him 2 injections and prescribed 3 medications even though she did not know what was wrong. My brother still had pain and felt horrible was able to get an appointment with his PCP that same day they did a urinalysis and found blood in the urine and did more test found the issue.
