To begin, can I say this is one of the most beautiful stores located in the Central Valley. I came to this store twice to find purses for Mother's Day, and my loved ones birthday. I loved this place! Speaking from a sellers standpoint, I brought in 36 items ranging from Louboutin to Louis Vuitton, and they were mostly reasonable. Maritza and her team are phenomenal! It took them about 1.5 hours to go through my items, so I went to the gym and they called when they were ready. They take your items and authenticate them. Your items are then researched for current market price and selling points. They are happy to work with you on price, but don't get all crazy and want close to retail. There has to be some profit margin. I ended up selling 18 of my items. There were some that I couldn't part with and I knew they couldn't reach my price point. They take your info down and pay you right there. Depending on how much you make, it can be cash or check. If you are looking to buy, I've never seen more bags in my life. Damn! Saint Laurent, Chanel, Hermes, etc... Shoes? Louboutin, Chanel, Gucci. Accessories? You name it! Rolex, Cartier, Patel Philippe. If you're a size 8.5/9, I just sold them a bunch of stuff. Would definitely return here to sell more items. Again, be realistic when you sell! Some people are too emotional. Like, "but I paid $1000 and you're only giving me $400?!" It's business baby. I purchased an LV and Gucci bag here less than a year ago and thought it was a great deal. I recently went back to try and sell the Gucci bag because when I got home I realized it wasn't my style anymore, I have never used it since I bought it and was trying to see if I can get some money back instead of it just sitting here. I paid $600 for it and the lady offered $100...I grabbed the bag and left, I can't believe how quick they were to take our money but when trying to sell back they completely looked down on us. Let's start with service, I wasn't greeted by security at all. He was just quiet, but it would've been nice for him to say hello.. Front desk area was fine. Both women were nice and greeted me. I went in to sell a few bags so while I waited to get them quoted, I browsed around. They have a nice selection of items BUT most items were very close to regular retail prices. Regardless of how old they were, the prices were maybe 10% off retail. Which blew my mind!! Some were very worn out, years old. About 15 minutes later, I was quoted. The amount they wanted to give me for my items was ridiculous! I was even more blown! They wanted to give me $300 each for 2 year old designer hand bags that I rarely wore. Great condition with boxes. Each bag was over 2k that I spent. My items were in same or better shape than what they were selling in their store. & newer. So I knew they would flip it for 10% off retail, most likely. Which I understand is their business and that's how they make money. BUT they should pay more to a seller and make it a reasonable offer. These offers were insane. I left. I'm not selling $8,000 worth of bags for pennies. I was just trying to clean out my closet and make space for new stuff. Maybe they think everyone is in need of money and they take advantage that way. It kind of makes me feel bad for the people they did this to. This review is pertains to the handbags in this store and not their jewelry. WARNING: THIS BOUTIQUE IS CHARGING CUSTOMERS REGULAR RETAIL PRICES ON FAKE HANDBAGS!!!! I have been an AVID collector of luxury goods, particularly, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Chanel, Dior and YSL. And anyone who has been can walk to an item and recognize a FAKE immediately. Please beware of the authenticity of every single item in this store!!! At first impression, upon walking in, this store was clean and we were greeted by a friendly staff member. However, she did not know the names of the Louis Vuitton styles I had in question. There were items that lacked the details of authentic LV styles. They carried styles in colors that have never, EVER been released by LV. Louis Vuitton and other luxury brands are ONLY sold in authorized locations AND their own stand alone stores, so please be careful!!! So, to validate my suspicions, I called the store and asked if their inventory was on consignment and where they get their inventory from. The woman answered, "All of our inventory is brand new. We get them from numerous resources." (PS: not everything in the store was brand new) So I thought to myself, "Huh? Numerous resources?? If you're an authorized luxury goods dealer, you will get your inventory from ONE resource and ONLY one AND you'd be able to mention from who and where." LOL I then asked, "Are all if your items guaranteed authentic?" She answered, "Yes," and went on to *defend* their rigorous "authenticity" check and return policy. If they're brand new and coming from A trusted resource, WHY the comprehensive check??? Because they have to ensure the stitching and patterns, hardware and packaging, have to *pass*. I then asked, "So, if I purchased an item from your store, and I take it to Gucci or YSL, or Gucci and Chanel, it will pass their authenticity check?" The woman began to stutter incessantly, "Well... ummm... so... uh... well... ummm... well... we have our own authenticity check. I don't know how other locations do it, so I can't answer that." I said, "I don't care about other locations, I'm referring to a Louis Vuitton store. If I bought a Louis Vuitton bag from YOU, and I take it to the Louis Vuitton store, will they be able to tell me that it's real?" She said, "I don't know that because I don't know how they check. We are a part of Fresno Coin." WHAAAAT?! What does Fresno Coin have to do with Louis Vuitton?? Also, when browsing and walking around more, I noticed a stack of LV duffle bags, one on top of the other, reminiscent of a youth baseball dugout. To the owners and associates of this store: LUXURY goods should be treated as such, with care and attention to detail. But kudos to you and the owners for still being in business and manipulating customers into thinking they're purchasing a true investment. LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, customers and patrons, since their prices on FAKE items are the same as walking into a Christian Dior store, Bloomingdale's, or an Yves Saint Laurent store, take the extra time and effort and your hard earned money, and go purchase from knowledgeable staff and 100% trusted sellers. Went in today and had a very interesting visit. Let me start by saying I have always shopped at coin gallery. I've boughten multiple rings for my fiance and mother and even some gold bullions for myself. The customer service is always great there. So I figure I would check this place out. I brought my mother to check out what they had in store. I walked into the store and was instantly greeted by the security guard. I was then passively greeted by the women at the counter. We then proceeded to look. The entire time we were in there we were being ignored. The only time we were helped was when I had to ask for help to see a loose diamond. I then asked if I could pay to have some rings cleaned. Here is where the trouble started. The woman instantly threw excuses at me, like, you should go to the show room to have it cleaned or, our machine isn't that good. Like, what the hell, I'm not going to drive 25 minutes out my way to have them cleaned. They then proceeded to take my rings to the back, about one minute later the woman comes back and LITERALLY tosses my rings on the counter. She then says "we have to change out the batteries"......what???? Ultrasonic machines run on ac power. But the fact that my rings were just thrown on a glass counter like a piece of trash really aggravated me. One of my rings was a .72 center vs1 GIA graded Halo ring, the other was a ring I bought at coin gallery. The Halo ring could have lost a diamond with how hard it made contact on the glass. (Coin gallery actually resized this one before and did a great job). I could not believe how disrespectful this whole thing was. The sad thing was I came in to look at a zenith watch that I really wanted. It was a smaller moonphase watch. But when I was looking at the watches, they didn't even bother to come and help me. I wasn't going to interrupt the women's conversation to get helped with. They should be helping everyone that's in that store, considering they are employed to do so. My mother and I started to make our way out the door, as we left the door, a women yelled out, "your rings", she then looked at the other girl behind the purse wall and and said oh, nevermind. What the hell? You were literally the one who just threw my rings on the counter. Overall this visit to Sceptre and Sash was just terrible, it made me really reflect on how much I've spent at coin gallery. I also realize it's a different store, but owned by the same people. Shouldn't the experience at least be similar. (By the way, I ended up going to a nice jewelery store and got my rings cleaned. And they were real respectful, they even presented me my rings in a nice cushion portfolio). read more

I sold a few purses here a couple years ago. A few weeks ago when i went in to see if they would buy a bag of mine as I walked in I was looked up and down as if my appearance did not fit in. I ran errands all day and this was my last stop for the day I'm in comfy clothes hair in a bun. When I walked in the security guard did not greet me nor did the lady who she was laughing with. I already felt a weird vibe. So I walked over to the counter and the lady who was sitting at the counter asks what I was here for and what do I have in a rude loud voice so I showed her my LV bag and she proceeds to tell me she has to do research on it and then looks at the bag only and to just tell me rudely "no we don't buy this here" and just hands it to me rudely. I thought I just go in and check it out to see what I can get it for but I guess I would rather sell it online than deal with their customer service. Very rude and disrespectful! I think the ladies here think they are "high value" people or something, they treat others who come in like shit. I won't be a returning customer anymore after this day. Reviews on yelp are totally true. Here's another one added to the list for them. It's kinda funny cus they were selling the same bag but in a different color similar to mine that looked bit out dated than mine. This store sells fake items under the impressions that they are "authentic" I went in and realized a lot of the handbags are noticeably fake. I went to there Instagram, page and noticed they also promote a lot of there fake handbags. I don't think this is right at all especially when people go in after spending time saving up for an authentic bag. This store should be reported to the cops! How sad. read more

This is the type of place that will screw you over if you selling to them and turn around and screw you again if/when you buy from them ... Fist impression lazy security guard with no personality greets you at the front , went in to do a trade but apparently they're too good for a trade . We had a brand new in the box with all the paperwork LV bag lady offer 700.00 for it , lol then had the nerve to try and sell me one of there 20yr old LV bag for double what they were willing to pay me for mine . at the end of the day you're better off going to the LV store or the Gucci store and buying a brand new because this place you're not getting a deal all the stuff is used 10 to 15 to 20 years old but they still want current retail prices for them.I think the bag i brought in was the newest piece there ... read more

I honestly had very high expectations for this store, and they were not met. The shop is beautiful, the quality of items that are carried is fantastic, but customer service leaves a LOT to be desired. I had called to see about getting a vintage Louis Vuitton I had purchased from an online consignment store authenticated, and selling a Marc By Marc Jacobs bag. I was told that the authentication would be $30 and to bring the MJ bag in. So, I went. I'm only 25, and I know I can't afford most of what they have in store but I would like to think I'm not too out of place in a luxury store. Apparently I was wrong. I've never felt so condescended in my life. The woman I worked with kept talking about how "$30 was a lot of money and she didn't want me to just throw it away". Umm okay...just check out my bag please? She asked how much I paid for the bag because they had the same style in store but much better condition. I told her that I originally paid $350, but I got a discount because a rivet snapped off during the shipping process. Her response? "Well why did you still want this if it was broken?" I told her that it seemed like it was fixable and that I could still use the bag. She informed me (while looking over the top of her glasses) that I would have to pay to have it fixed. Umm yes, I know that. Again, she mentioned that she didn't want me to waste my $30 (I really just want to leave at this point) and shows me the bag they are offering...at $800, and rattles off their layaway plan. Which honestly, that's out of my price range at this point. But she doesn't know me from Beyoncé, how does she know what I can and can't afford? A little assumptive on her part. Oh and the NWT bag? I think the prices here for pre-owned items are way too high. I went in looking for a Louis Vuitton wallet to match a purse I received for Christmas. The three they had were in nice condition and appeared genuine, but they were only about 10-15% less than a new one. So, I purchased a new one instead. For me pre-owned should be more of a savings than just 10-15%. read more

I want to first start by saying it's a beautiful store the women were friendly. I purchased a bag three months ago and it started to fall apart slowly. I understand that they are used handbags but didn't think it would fall apart that soon. I called the store and spoke with the manager she asked if I could come in and bring in the bag so she could take a look. I drove from Visalia on my day off for her to look at the bag and basically told me that there was nothing that they could do and she did offer me $100 gift card for the store.
