Small town store. We wanted to do some cherry picking and this was such a nice experience. Went inside the store after picking all the cherries got her some more goodies. The ladies at the front counter were super nice and helpful packing up everything for us. Love this place so happy we stop to adventure here. Until next time...

Not sure what's better - the always gorgeous pick-your-own cherries, or the lovely bakery and foods in the market. These guys are the best!

Excellent tart cherries and tart cherry pie. Pick your own tart cherries for $5 across the street. Then buy yourself a small or large pie. Very good homemade stuff!

Great store and selection of all things cherry! They also sell local produce and alcohol. Great selection of cherry wine and local, seasonal beer. You can pick your own tart cherries for $9 a pail, compared to already picked tart cherries selling for $12 in the store. We got a pail of sweet cherries for $20! They are very sweet and pop in your mouth when you eat them. A pail was especially a large grocery bag filled with cherries! They don't let you pick your own sweet cherries because the trees are taller and for liability reasons. Great owners and friendly service. They also accept credit cards.

The absolute best cherry pie I have ever had. Nothing compares! The strawberry rhubarb is equally good.

On the way to the Michigan UP, as you pass north of Green Bay, you spot a sign that reads "Better…read moreBuy Brosig's" and a picture of an ear of corn. Good advice to be taken seriously by novice Wisconsin roadside corn buyers. During the peak corn harvest season of August through early September, you will see lots of fresh vegetable & corn signs pop up all over Wisconsin. These often lead you to gas stations, empty lots with tents and tables set up, or just a produce-laden pick-up truck with some shirtless, unshaven farmer guy with bad teeth. You have to be certain you get good corn. Some places don't let you pick through their corn and all you get is a "mystery bag" with a dozen ears for a certain $. Then you look later and find it's some dried-up horse-corn with withered tassels. Others have undersized and immature corn that is underdeveloped and flavorless. Now located in Crivitz (formerly in Pound, WI) Brosig's consistently has the freshest, biggest tri-color corn we've come across. They have a roadside location and a smaller one in a gas station parking lot a little farther north in the same town. On our way to Michigan and on the trip home, we always stop and get a bag of fresh Brosig's corn. Brosig's puts 13 to a bag themselves, but don't fear finding any bad corn in there! They also carry other fresh vegetables like giant bell peppers, 2-foot long zucchini, tomatoes, potatoes, leeks, and other locally grown farm goodies, most of which were picked the same day. The stand is right alongside US-141 in Crivitz, with a sign about 1/2-mile away. You'll be amazed at the volume of business Brosig's gets from passing tourists like us, as well as loyal locals. Pull over to the side of the road and check it out. The folks working at the farmstand have that honest-to-goodness, laid-back rural personality you find out there but rarely encounter in the city. Come by, get some corn or zucchini, chat with them, even ask them where they recommend going for the best fish fry or something.

I traveled with my friendly Dog, but he took a nap in the car whilst I shopped at the Wildwood Market. This place is clean and wholesome and very Family Friendly! The owner Mark Carlson was extremely friendly, knowledgeable about his fresh fruit and vegetable products and knew much history of the area. There were jams and sauces, Fresh from the farm tomatoes and so much to look at and shop for.....I purchased some oddly shaped long tomatoes, and some dried cherries to bring back home. I chatted about our 9/11 experiences BUT while I was 'trapped' in London, UK during September 11th 2001. The market store was moved from a close by location in sections and rebuilt and lovingly restored and rebuilt by the Carlson family. They are currently adding in other parts of the business as they grow...including a possible historical setting scene of what the former historical "migrant picker's shack used to look like back in the day. Their orchard market is open Mid May through October. They have Pick Your Own Cherries and a funny Cherry Picking RULES sign inside the market store, most important rule, DO NOT CLIMB THE CHERRY TREES! This place has a medium sized graveled parking lot, easy parking and handicapped friendly ramp to enter the store. PLEASE NO big Rv's or Tour buses please, it is too hard to park and back up out of, ducks were swimming in their own little pool off to the side of the market store, Mark is a great guy and again MARK CARLSON, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE TO OUR COUNTRY!!! ALso from their website: Carlson's Island View Orchard, home of Door County Wildwood Market and Anna's Garden...located in the old "migrant picker's shack" Mark, Mary Pat, and daughter Anna welcome you to Carlson's Island View Orchard and gardens - all here on the family farm that has been in the Carlson family since 1846 - two years before Wisconsin became a state.

The vibe is super cute and even on a dreary day this place was warm and inviting. It's Swedish inspired and feels super cozy. Service is top notch!
