I gathered my forms, prepared a long list of questions I needed answered, and headed to Swansea to meet Chris. WOW, what great professional experience. Chris walked my wife and me through all the forms and paperwork, in less than an hour. All questions answered. Chris has a large computer monitor, we could watch him enter the data, and asked questions as he entered the data. I believe he saved us about $2,000, by entering the data into the proper forms. Overall, personable, professional and quick. I'll be back again next year.

Say they can't do it without my military orders. (Really? Because we wouldn't have known if WE didn't call to check in on the process. So I guess I they never would have gotten done -- but you needed the orders so badly?? *sarcasm*) Called back the next day to say - "Why? Didn't need orders when I've filed taxes before." Realized they were stalling. (I PCSed a year and a half ago and my orders weren't even from this tax year.) Now told - we can process without your orders. Showed up because I realized he was lying and stalling and I didn't want someone like the handling my personal information. Was told there's some "subtraction" if I can provide my orders. However, when I asked him to explain, he said rudely "well I just did- there's a subtraction." Asked politely for my documents back bc I'm firing him at this point. He readily gives them to me. They are not even begun to be processed. This tells me he hasn't even started. He does not try to keep my business. This tells me that he must be so behind in his work that he can stand to lose some because he's not offering any customer service and is not trying to keep my business. Why are they using personnel, that are making errors? It can't be that hard to place someone in the role that won't make mistakes that can cause customers possible tax liabilities!!!

Previously in 2018 I visited Jackson Hewitt in Belleville near downtown and the preparer completely…read morescrewed up my paperwork and was later fired for it ... so of course I didn't want to return this year I visited the Swansea Location and find out there were fees from 2018 not taken out .... Plus current fees that are being paid ... when I called to speak to the person preparing my paperwork (Leigh Anne .. nicest person ever) someone else ( Danielle) decided to try and put me on the phone with the GM .. when I told them I didn't want to speak with her ... I only wanted to deal with ( Ms Leigh Anne ) I got attitude and smart mouth conversation in the background because Danielle forgot to mute.. Nobody cares about titles anymore we only care about good Customer service ... thanks but no thanks to the smart mouth GM! Now that the paperwork is settled you can let corporate know . This is why I will never return. No discount after my paperwork was screwed up and horrible customer service from the Gm! Pulling my chair out was a nice brush over!
