After I got her home, I called and asked about it because she was in an extreme amount of pain. They said the vet doesn't give pain medicine for that surgery. That vet has since retired. I then was fortunate enough to get into Haskell Valley. I took my new kitten there to get spayed, and was relieved to hear that she had been given pain medicine after the surgery. She has been sleeping a lot but has not shown any signs of real discomfort. Haskell Valley really does care not only about your fur babies, but about your comfort level too. They want you to know that you are part of the process. I can't think of a clinic that goes above and beyond to the level that this one does, highly recommended.

We have been working with them and a specialist in NY and it has been a great relationship for our cats unique medical issues. Keystone was willing to work and learn from the specialists, all while following up quickly with local bloodwork/ treatments. As it turned out when I brought her in there was nothing to be done other than allow her to pass peacefully in my arms and end her pain. The team here was so kind and gentle. There was a comfortable private room where they allowed me the time to say my goodbyes. They let me sit on the floor so she could be curled up on my lap as she left this world and then gave me privacy again assuring me that I could take all the time I needed. They also arranged her cremation process for me. And yesterday I came home to a hand written condolence card... this was such a difficult time but I can imagine it would have been even more so without their kindness and grace in the way they handled us both.
