I explained this to the doctor & staff & they kindly accommodated my strange request. At the time the doctor also informed me that I would need a special root-canal in one tooth, which he did not provide. All of the normal crowns were taken care of well. I've had better, but only when getting one crown at a time. I find it difficult to complain that the man left a snag or two after spending three straight hours working on one mouth. Obviously, when prompted by questioning in subsequent visits he remedied my concerns like a consummate professional. During the one appointment in the midst of that whole situation, the doctor mistakenly shaved down the tooth in which I needed the special root-canal, having forgotten in the weeks since he told me that I would need to seek other dental help for that tooth. I did not forget, I was just busy trying not to panic bc getting dental work is scary. I still should have told him, & so I consider this mistake to be mostly my own. I have never experienced this here, which makes me feel much more at ease going to the dentist. Scheduling is always a breeze and they do a great job working with my insurance. My first visit I only saw her for 3 minutes where she was rude and seemed in a rush. On my second visit, I came in for a "consultation." They will tell you anything to get more business so beware. When I came in my third visit to put in my permanent retainer they told me they ordered the wrong product. Instead of apologizing they blamed it on me. Dr. Carbia will not give you the time you need and the internal communications in the office does not exist.

i travel 4.5 hours to see dr. yaber and his team and it's worth every second. i haven't been able…read moreto go to a dentist for years and i have a ton of problems so i was looking for someone that specialized in smile makeovers and after finding him on ig, we had a facetime consultation and then made my first appointment. a big part of what makes this place different is the people. his assistant maria did my intake questions and all of my x-rays. she took time to understand everything i was coming in with and made the x-rays with that awful plastic thing super easy and painless. yanisbel did my first deep cleaning there and i'll never go to anyone else again. i have really sensitive teeth and have been terrified for this part but i felt NOTHING. she checked in on me regularly because she knew i was nervous but that was by far the best cleaning i've ever had. my last visit was for a partial root canal on a tooth that dr. yaber is trying to save. first of all, lety gave me a blanket so once i was numb it was the comfiest i've ever been in a dentists office lol. i was also told by another dentist years ago that there was nothing that could be done and that this tooth needed to be pulled at some point, so i really appreciate dr. yaber even trying to save it. isa at the front desk has been amazing setting up all of my appointments, sending me reminders, and gave me great advice on insurance which was really helpful since this is all very new to me. i can't get over how sweet every single person in that office is. they really listened to all of my concerns and fears coming in, they go out of their way to make me feel comfortable every time i'm there, and dr. yaber cares more about my traveling than i do so he's really thoughtful when planning out my situation. we're still in the very beginning of everything that needs to get done but my mouth is already in such better shape. very thankful for dr. yaber and his team
