Nelson's seems great at first, but then problems come up from their prior fixes. Our window broke 4…read moretimes because they used cheap parts then made us pay to use a genuine factory part. The final straw is we had a coolant problem about a year ago they fixed. Recently the coolant has been leaking and our new mechanic found Nelson's didnt even tighten one of the hose connectors and once again used the incorrect connector that could actually damage the hoses as they expand when the engine heats up. I thought Nelson's was top tier, but the multiple follow-up repairs make it not worth it to go here anymore. Its unfortunate because they are great about fixing their mistakes... but with how much they charge there shouldnt be mistakes like this. This last small mistake could have blown up the engine. I cant in good conscience recommend going here.

They called me and said that the leak was from the rack and pinion and the cost would be $1400.00 I picked up my vehicle on a Thursday afternoon and by the time I drove to work 16 miles from my home I had no power steering again! Drop off car again! I spoke to Nate and said to him that they have me driving an unsafe vehicle. Not only was the power steering out, the fluid was all leaking out on to the manifold and was smoking like crazy. That could have led to a fire. I was laughed at . After my third time in with the same issue and a 1400 unnecessary repair. I asked again about the valve and guess what . It was the valve all along. Nothing I said when I took it in was written down or even listened to. I got half my money back but have lost all trust in them!! Rude employees, mechanic's that don't actually look at the original complaint or listen to what the customer has to say about their own vehicles.

I've left numerous phone calls, voicemails, texts, anything thing to get ahold of this guy only to call him once with a new number and he picked the phone up. He keeps giving excuses such as "The inspection is done. Let me call you Monday or Tuesday after I've assembled an estimate" *two weeks after the first excuse* "It's a lengthy estimate, let me call you by the end of today or tomorrow." As I've said, he does not value your time. He charges $95/hour to keep your vehicle in the shop for an undisclosed amount of time while he appraises your vehicle unconventionally, then dodges your phone calls to make more time for "contract work" DO NOT COME HERE. GO ANYWHERE ELSE.
