They have other orthopedic surgeons in other days. I am thankful that Forte added his specialty to their offices in Bloomington. The office staff was extremely helpful and will assist in any way they can. Their offices are on the second floor and easily accessible by stairs or elevator. Dr Wohler is thorough and professional. He knows what he is talking about. He also will help you develop a planned approach to preventive care. Forte has a number of orthopedic specialists who come down to Bloomington from greenwood. I used to be very pleased with the care I received from MMG. Not so any longer…read more After being forced to undergo PT prior to ordering an MRI, it was discovered that I have a torn rotator cuff. I found a COMPETENT physician, who immediately found it and referred me to an orthopedic surgeon. The PT forced upon me by MMG only exacerbated my condition. If this had been the only issue I had with MMG, I might have given them a second chance. However, my wife went through a similar chronic pain issue, and instead of continuing to test to find the cause, she was told to "go see a chiropractor." We were also lied to on a few separate instances, and decided to find a good doctor instead of any of the MMG providers. And so glad we did!

The care I got was sub-par and the professionalism of the staff was worse…read more First was the struggle just to get in to have the procedure (remove a cyst)- it was diagnosed by my Doctor (downstairs) and one at the Dermatology Clinic. So, I was given an appointment to have it removed. When I showed up Dr. Santiago said, "Yes that is a cyst, we'll make an appointment to get it removed." I said, "Yeah 2 doctors have already said that. I'm here now to get it removed now." Nope - I had to wait another month. I should have ran back to the Dermatology Center! My gut told me these folks did not have their act together - and I didn't listen. The day I showed up I was laid on a table and told I'd have to wait for a piece of equipment to be sterilized, that they didn't have enough equipment to do multiple surgeries. What the?...Are you kidding me? You have a sign that says SURGERY above your office! Then I has to listen to the Doctor tell jokes about his wife while he cut me open. Bad jokes. All the while the two assistants (nurses?) were openly disparaging other people in the office they worked with. The Doctor never said anything - a couple of times joining in. It is never good when Healthcare Professionals don't conduct themselves Professionally. Lastly, I was given 2 instructions regarding the 1 1/2 - 2 inch cut in my back - one was I could shower after 24 hours the other was I could use a bandage if the stitches bothered me. Nothing else, they sent me on my way without so much as a xeroxed copy of anything resembling "aftercare" instructions or things to look out for (signs of infection and so on). Two days later the incision was soaking the bandages I was putting on. 3 - 4 a day were drenched in blood. Then the incision began to swell a little and become really painful. Not knowing what to do I googled "Cyst removal incision aftercare" and found a long detailed aftercare list from a surgeon's office in Colorado - sure enough profuse bleeding and soreness were things that needed to be looked at. I went to a health clinic (No way I was calling Santiago's office again), where I was prescribed antibiotics and told I had a hematoma pushing through the sutures. Lovely. I will not be letting that office in Landmark touch me again. My Primary Care Physician will also hear about this. IU Health taking over all of our Healthcare Institutions with their Monopolistic Oligarchy of a Company has been the absolute worst thing to happen to Southern Indiana.
