She sought out a plea bargain for me that back dated my credit for time served so I would get the credit for the year I had already been incarcerated. Come to find out that my plea agreement wasn't lawful or legal. So then after finding out that Oregon department of corrections wouldn't honor my plea agreement me and my family called and called to ask Anna Lasher to simply go to bat for me and get me the credit for time served that she, the prosecuting attorney, and judge all signed off on she blew me and my family off and wouldn't return our calls. Going through these people was a costly decision and the worst decision I've ever made because it cost me an entire year of my life that I will never get back. If you're considering hiring these people or Anna Lasher herself, just save your money because you'll end up needing it while you're in prison anyway. You would have a better chance at winning your case by representing yourself or even hiring someone from your nearest homeless encampment to represent you in court. Absolutely and completely incompetent at their jobs.

He was tremendously kind, right after my mom had been confirmed with an Alzheimer's diagnosis. The fees were reasonable, it was easy to get it all finished, and I thought it worked out well. A word of advice, keep hold of your documents, make copies, lock them up, put a fire breathing dragon outside them to guard them... ours went missing ( there's a possibility my mom destroyed them, sigh) and when I went back to them for help ( granted, a few years later), they didn't have a file for her anymore, or the documents in their computer. My mom's Alzheimer's is now too advanced for them to do them again. She had to be reasonably competent to get that done. This sucked. They were nice about it, explaining they'd changed computer systems, but it still sucked. Now I have to figure out how to go after guardianship probably. The second time I went to see Vicki Vernon about a family law issue. She was kind enough, but now that I have been around the block a bit more, I know that she's not quite the shark I would need to accomplish what I was setting out to accomplish. I dropped this proceeding and she was kind enough about that, as well, handling that very professionally. I think this is an ok little law firm if you are doing something simple, but you might want to reach out to someone more sharky if you want to do something big. Does that make sense?

I have still not consistently received child support, aside from a few months my ex husband voluntarily paid himself. Communication throughout this process has been poor and unprofessional. Concerns were routinely dismissed, and I was often met with condescending behavior instead of guidance or solutions.
