I…read moreoriginally talked and wrote my contract with Dylon and he promised me they'd do an amazing job painting my walls, rails, windows and kitchen cabinets. I was assured time and time again that Dylon will bring his best crew and they knew exactly what I wanted and they knew how to it professionally! He also promised the job will take 10 days to 2 weeks max! Well, the project took almost 4 weeks and they ruined pretty much all that they touched! The walls most have shadows and even though they said they painted a few coats it still looks bad in some areas! The paint on the railing was over sprayed and it's running and some areas weren't sanded properly and it's rough to the touch! They absolutely ruined my kitchen cabinets as they didn't prep them at all, just spayed them and didn't even bother to remove the protective tape inside that prevents damage to the cabinets (just painted right over it)! My built in fridge has panels and as soon as they took all the panels off to paint, they lost the upper panel and didn't know what happened to it! That's a custom piece and it's very expensive. They also lost most of the hinges to the cabinets and couldn't put them back up properly as they are all crooked and lopsided! They threw my drawers out in the open with no protection whatsoever and got paint all over the insides as well. My kitchen looks horrible! Even Dylon admitted it didn't look good and to give them another chance, but we had to move in and they had 4 weeks already! All my cabinet fronts have to be changed at this point as they won't stand the sanding and refinishing once more!Their excuse was that there were other contractors there when i reality there was one contractor working in the upstairs bathroom and an electrician that was almost done (also Dylon was told about this before and he reassured me that they do this all the time and it's no big deal)! They took down all of the interior doors to paint them and they couldn't put one back that works! You heard right, of the 13 doors not one closes properly as they either hung them incorrectly or stripped them and they are useless so we will eventually have to replace them! They took out our sliding door to paint it and I don't know why they took out the handle as it went missing as well. As for the sliding door, they couldn't put it back properly and not only was it a safety hazard but it let cold air in and we had spend thousands to get that replaced. They took down all the ceiling fans to paint the ceiling but didn't put any one of them back up so another expense! They lost 8 window channels, all weather stripping was ruined 2 window screens were missing, most of the electrical outlet covers were missing and even though Dylon replace a few of those we put them back ourselves! My partner also helped with finishing the paint in the closets and trying to hang the kitchen cabinets in a good will to help them move faster. They also left my house in such filth that the cleaning person who was here for 10 hours gave up and left as there was so much paint and dust everywhere. Speaking of paint, they had spray that was as on the flooring upstairs and they took it off using a chemical solvent that took the sheen right out of the brand new floors we had put it! Using this without our knowledge nor consent voided the warranty and the flooring needs to be replaced. So many other things to mention but after all this D-Wing tried to charge us through a third party (a roofing company) that was not in our agreement nor were we told about this. We disputed the charge as we didn't know who the roofing company was and we were trying to protect ourselves in this day and age of fraud. However, the owner of the company calls and demands we release the funds (mind you the credit card company found this charge to be fraudulent as well), so I asked him to just write a paragraph telling me they'll be charging me this way as a protection for us that we had paid and he refused!!! We were in the middle of all this that the owner decided to put a mechanical lien on our home and then trying to sue us! What a headache and a waste of time, energy and everything else! Please please save yourselves and DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! They turned buying and fixing a home into something disastrous and beyond stressful. Now, the paint looks bad as it wasn't applied properly and it's bleeding through! The windows have chips and cracks and some baseboards have bubbles in them! I wish I never contacted D-Wing!

We did our best to seal off the opening with thick plastic and tape until we could get the window replaced but knew that wouldn't last long. One company we called wanted over $500 just to nail plywood over the opening. In the meantime, we called two window companies to get estimates for the replacement. The first company spent very little time and was rather short with us. They offered nothing in the way of covering the opening for the 6-8 weeks it would take for the new window. Then we called Naperville Windows & Doors. Their representative came to our house and took time to listen to us and address our concerns. Shortly after receiving our estimate (which, by the way, was over $1000 lower than the first company for the same window), Don (who I believe is the owner) came out to get exact measurements. When he saw the gaping hole in our house & our makeshift repair, he offered to nail the old window into place and seal the opening so we wouldn't be without a window for 2 months. When we tried to pay him for his trouble, he wouldn't take any money. Very impressive customer service! Needless to say, we chose to go with NWD. When our window came in, Joe came to install it. He was super nice & did a fantastic job! The window is beautiful & very solid. We were very happy with our experience with NWD and would whole-heartedly recommend them. It was a mess. I carefully researched companies that did exterior work. I ultimately chose Olson on the basis of their reputation of doing high-quality work. Shortly thereafter I met with the project manager (Joe H) and he was helped me get the colors and materials picked and ordered and the project was underway. When the install day arrived, I was introduced two a 2-man work crew that would be handling the bulk of the work. In the course slightly more than a week, they totally rebuilt the full exterior of my home. The results are amazing and the home feels new again! Two things really stood out to me and my experience with Olson. 1). The work ethic of that two-man crew. They worked as hard as anyone I have ever seen. Except for lunch, work was non-stop from sunrise to sunset. This was hard and grueling work, especially the demolition of the old siding and stone fascia. They showed up every day like clockwork, and cleaned up after each day. 2). The quality of work they demonstrated. They absolutely knew what they were doing, and they were very good at it. Everything was installed true, level, without gaps, etc. Caulk lines were perfect etc. Everywhere they worked you could see the pride in what they do, and it was very clear there were no shortcuts taken. These two gentlemen were expert craftsman and I can gratefully say my house now reflects that. It turned out more beautiful than I'd ever imagined. I have never nor will ever receive any compensation for this review. My sole motivation for writing is to share the positive experience I had with Olson. Finding a trustworthy company for a project of this size and investment is daunting. Olson, especially their work crew, deserves recognition for a job well done.
