Chicagoland Exteriors is very professional in every way from reviewing and discuss the estimate in detail, working very closely with us and insurance company, to the crew that worked on our house perfectly. Chicagoland Exteriors replaced my entire roof this year and did the best job which we can expected. We have a large roof which was wind-damaged from years. We have several companies to fixed it, but not solved the problem. We worry about this roof a lot every time strong wind in Chicagoland, until work with Chicagoland Exteriors this year. From the beginning, The project Manager, Jake Layden, worked very closely with us in the estimate in detail. He is very professional and very knowledgeable, and is always available for questions and when we needed him. He also worked extremely hard with us dealing with the insurance company. They started the work in the morning, and be able to finish the job in one day even the outside temperature was 93 degree and plus, unbelievable! The crew worked not only very hard on replacing my roof, but also they protected our deck and flower beds and plants around the house. Their work on clean up was also amazing and very careful, they also run magnetic roller all around the house and grass field! Great service and quick. After years of procrastinating, I decided to do something to the exterior of our home. I was looking to have the soffit, fascia and gutters replaced and capped. I received estimates from two other companies before deciding on Chicagoland Exteriors. The other companies came and took measurements and inspected the property and then I had to wait for their estimates to be Emailed to me. Katherine from Chicagoland Exteriors came to our house as promised on time with samples and plenty of references. She took the measurement and was able to give me a price on the spot. She also gave me a price for having the house sided which it also needed badly. We picked out the color and style of the siding and gave her a check for 50%. After looking at some of the jobs they had done we wanted to change the style of the siding. We called John and he was able to get the order in, and everything was in stock. He also asked about and an installation date that was open for them and we were also ok with it. He told us about the material being delivered the day before the job was to start and what to expect on the day of installation. John said that Javier would be out with a crew early in the mourning. They all worked a long day but finished the job in one day. There were no surprises everything went as planned and the house looks great. We live on a corner lot with plenty of foot traffic and have received a lot of compliments. Our experience from the start to the end was exceptional. This was a full house siding replacement (old aluminum to vinyl). Jake responded quickly to my online inquiry and showed up promptly for the onsite meeting where he explained the product and work clearly. We had talked to two other firms and they were the only one that gave us a clear sense of transparency and trust and didn't come off as evasive when questioned. He demonstrated great product and installation knowledge and focused on finding the right solution for our house and budget. Once the material arrived and the job commenced, Javier was onsite to ensure the team was on the right track. The entire team was professional and efficient throughout the entire installation. Javier checked in regularly with the team and with me to ensure the job stayed on track. Both Jake and Javier explained the installation process and how their process makes a difference in avoiding warping problems that I've read about so often on this and other sites. Javier is one of those rare employees that truly makes a company better being on the team. The quality of the installation is superb and is especially evident in the corner and trim details. There were minor issues that the team addressed easily such as remounting the garage coach lights which due to their age required a bit of rework of the mounts by the team. Our roof was damaged from a major hail storm (tennis ball sized) on 3/10/2026. We had worked with Brendan Regan of Chicagoland Exteriors (Chi-Ext) in the past as a public adjuster, so we called him. He did his inspection 2 days later, followed by our carrier, State Farm on 3/23/2026 (insurance covered the damage, so the cost I have listed was for the estimate that was paid by insurance). Brendan guided us along the way, was very responsive to our requests, and was very thorough in making sure everything happened as expected. Chi-Ext completed the roof replacement on 5/6/2026 and the gutter replacement (including gutter guards) and front window surrounds/cladding on 5/7/2026 (might have been scheduled sooner, but there was so much rain in the time leading up to the work; no fault of Chi-Ext). Each of the foremen (Fazzy for roof and Javi for gutters) was awesome to work with and kept me informed throughout the process of how it was going (they provided pictures of the work progress). Their crews did a great job, and they came back a few days later to do a final cleanup pass and review of the work with me. It was a great experience. read more

Recently Chicagoland Exteriors replaced our siding, and put brand new gutters on our home. Through out the process the entire team at Chicagoland Exteriors was very helpful. My wife and i at the time of the job were very busy with work, and they worked with our schedules with out any problems. They were very helpful in helping us with the decisions on what colors would look good with the roof color. They were very good with dealing with the insurance company which made it easy for us to communicate with our insurance company. They allowed me to scrap the old siding, and they placed it very clean in the exact spot i told them. A bit of advice though, don't scrap it yourself, pain in the butt! They will also put up any light fixtures you want to change, which i thought was very cool. Highly recommend. Great experience overall! The Chicagoland Exteriors team did a great job for us from start to finish. They met with our insurance adjuster to show them the hail and wind damage to our roof and siding, and the insurance company approved the repairs almost immediately. We also had them install several new windows and a sliding glass door. The services (windows, siding, roof/gutters) all took place on three different days and with three different work crews who were all highly professional. Not only did they take great care in their craft, they worked efficiently, and cleaned up very well afterwards. From an administrative standpoint they did an awesome job of communicating with me throughout the whole process (somewhat extended due to window manufacturer backlog) and answered all of my questions as they came along. My wife and I had some storm damage to our roof and it had caused some interior leaks. We knew we had to act quickly, but the idea of having to pay out of pocket if it wasn't covered made it scary. We called a few places and Chicagoland made me feel the most comfortable. They quickly set up an inspection date, and after the inspection they actually called our insurance to let them know exactly what they found. When the insurance claim adjuster showed up to determine if we were covered, Chicagoland sent a rep to meet him there and explain their findings first hand. We got approved and in a matter of weeks from the first phone call, we had a new roof (minus our deductible), and we couldn't be happier. They are very familiar with the process, explained it well, and walked us through every step of the way. I had Chicagoland Exteriors work on my home last year. They installed new siding and did a wonderful job walking me through the process. This was part of an insurance claim and although the process took longer to get approved, they held my hand along the way, letting me know what to expect and were there to help every step of the way. They offered various options and had the siding, wrap, and new lights installed in one day. I also had new Windows put in last year, and am upset that I didn't know about them before... I would have given them that business as well, since the supposedly "highly reputable" company we went with turned out to do a lackluster job with that project. Needed a new roof, fascia, soffit and gutters due to hail damage this spring. Called Chicagoland Exteriors on a Saturday morning and Jake was out that same day to do an initial inspection. From there, they handled everything. Picked out the materials and the guys went to work. Chicagoland Exteriors installed a new roof for our home last summer. The job was involved as, unbeknown to us, three previous layers had been installed in the past! In addition, we have a historic stucco home with dormers that required special attention where the stucco meets the roof.
