I saw Dr. Montes and had some blood work taken at the facility. One front desk employee was so rude and unprofessional from the moment I walked in the door. She kept giving me contradictory information to what I had received by Dr. Montes and the other staff members. She basically accused be of lying!. I could not believe how badly I was treated on my visit and phone calls. I was even told by this person I could not get a copy of my bloodwork when I told her I would not return to this facility because of mistreatment and misinformation I experienced. The Physicians may be good but the front desk and phone coverage is what I would consider dangerous to a patients' health

However, someone at the intake desk scanned my insurance information wrong and as a result, I had to waste half an hour with someone in India reading from a canned script trying to correct the problem. Now, I understand call centers, but having a call center for your billing issues, especially when it is a problem on the institute's end for scanning the wrong insurance information, is about as unpleasant as getting your boobs squished in a cold machine to see if you have breast cancer. Please, Baptist, DO BETTER with your billing!

She was told my primary was accepting new patients . When. we got to the office she was told that they called us to tell us that the doctor was not seeing new patients. Absolutely no coordination. They then gave me a list of Primary doctors a. accepting new patients. On the list was my Primary who I had used for years. before he passed away. plus my current primary who we were told is not seeing new patients. There definitely a problem.

Boy, were The Fates in my corner that day! She turned out to be The BEST! A Family Physician practices Family Medicine, which is a medical specialty that provides continuing and comprehensive health care for the individual and family across all ages, sexes, diseases, and parts of the body. That requires an enormous amount of knowledge and she is a brilliant physician and diagnostician, who also has the kindest personality through which she provides compassionate caring for her patients. I consider myself very lucky and fortunate to be one of them! And, I may add, that all of her referrals to specialists for me, and there have been many, have all been in the same stellar category that she calls home. Dr Silva took over inserting my pellets. Wait time has increased and then he comes into the office and goes into these lengthy explanations, he has the worse bad breath each time, you can't get a word in, and he does not wait for you to be numb before inserting the pellets. He reduced my progesterone to 100mg and I was later told that if I have my uterus, I should be on 200mg to protect my uterus. I have never in years been on 100mg... so I'm glad I went elsewhere for a second opinion. All the good staff has left. No one calls you back to give you lab results despite multiple messages left. Also, they do not respond to RX refills. Super frustrating dealing with this place.

When I arrived to my appointment, nobody told me Dr. Silva wasn't in the country. Typically if your Dr. is not in they call you to reschedule, they did not do this. I was not notified once I went to the appointment either that he wasn't there. The whole time I expect Dr. Silva. Once I'm in the room the nurse came in and once again, I'm expecting Dr. Silva to come in at some point. At the end the nurse tells me Dr. Silva is out of the country doing a conference. I called today 5/8/2026 and spoke for 45 minutes with 3 different people. One was Bella, a receptionist who told me there are 4 receptionist's. Bella contacted Dr. Silva's clients on her list prior to their visit to give them the option to reschedule. I was never offered this courtesy by the receptionist who took my appointment. She said I was not on her list, it must be another receptionist who took my appointment and that the Dr. Silva actually had an emergency with his wife and that's why he wasn't in. This is a lie. I provided a screen shot of his Instagram showing him giving a conference. Lillian another employee then gets on the phone and says I can only be given a telehealth for Monday or Wednesday, that's all she would do. They will not offer me any refund. She says and I quote "I know everything, you saw a registered nurse and this qualifies as a visit". I told her this was my first visit and after my experience I would just like a refund. They hung up on me.
