Today was the first day open and everything looked so fresh and new. To order food you use a kiosk and all the food is put together right in front of you. Super clean and nice. People at the cash registers were really nice too. Not only is there a seating area, a drink station, and a food station, but there also drinks, snacks, and to go food. You can use the Mac machine, buy lottery tickets and even buy alcohol. The food was amazing and they still have pepperoni rolls. I tried the chicken strips and they were great. You can pick how many you want. Also the sides were great. The mashed potatoes tasted so fresh and the white cheddar Mac and cheese makes Panera's Mac and cheese look like dog food. There's also slides of pizza ready to go and you can get a whole pizza for $10. There's also some family meals and custom coffee drinks you can get at the kiosks. Definitely check it out! The chicken quality, price, and taste is like a cross over between KFC and Chick Fil A. I will be back in the future for sure.

That was me on this particular day and like many other Pittsburghers I was roaming around aimlessly in a neighborhood I was unfamiliar with. Library Rd can be just as confusing and traffic jammed as the Parkway. However I had luck on my side when I came around a bed and say the red canopy. This location is on the larger side of things. The lot, the store and just about everything here is larger than most other Sheetz I have been to. No need to worry whether or not you will get a pump for gas as there are ample pumps. Gas prices are the norm for the area. Inside the store itself was large as well. Enough room to maneuver around without bumping into other people or the shelving. Staff were pleasant and efficient. The one thing I can never understand about Sheetz is why do they put those fake windows on the side of the building? Is it to be more welcoming? I don't get it, then they put advertising in those fake windows. Whatever, as long as I can get what I want fast, I'm a happy camper.

As I got out of my car I noticed it had a sign indicating that if you use a debit card it will instantly convert that to a credit transaction. I was pleased with that sign since I had heard so many reports of ID theft at gasoline pumps. I purchased my gas and then ended up going inside for a receipt. There is nothing fancy about this store except that it is another convenience store with higher prices when you need to stop in and grab things you may need. The service was friendly and helpful. It is located in a small strip of shoppes in the residential area of South Park.

Well..their selection of products and snacks is always impressive. They feel more like a mini-grocery store than a convenience store with all they have to offer. But the main draw is their made to order food. Starting with the touch screen menu where you can place and specially customize an order at any time of day or night for anything from burgers to sandwiches or appetizers or hot dogs..their menu would basically be considered bar food-like..but it's all good stuff and it's all a lot better than you would expect from food made at essentially a gas station. Anywho, this location was alright. We stopped by to grab some food pretty late on a Friday night. The place was busy but not crazy busy. I hadn't had Sheetz food in a while, and I was pretty hungry, so I got a couple different things. A hot dog with ketchup and mustard, a steak and cheese sandwich, and some popcorn buffalo chicken. They used to have nachos and cheese on their menu..which was one of my go-to's for sure..but it was no longer on there. Bummer. The order took a bit of time to come out. It wasn't that long of a time, but it was long enough for me to think to myself that maybe it shouldn't take that long for an order of my size to be prepared. The staff there that night seemed agitated. They weren't really friendly and some of them were outright rude. I mean, I'm sure it's annoying to work there on a Friday night with all the crazy drunk people that show up to order food..but that's kind of what you're asking for when you serve made to order food all night every night. When the food finally did come out I was a bit disappointed with it. The hot dog barely had any ketchup or mustard on it..which made it seem pretty dry and bland. The steak sandwich was smashed together so much that it was almost the same size as the hot dog. It tasted alright but it didn't look that great. The popcorn chicken was probably the best thing I ordered. The chicken itself was crisp and the buffalo sauce was the right amount of hot and sweet. I ordered a ranch for dipping but they forgot to throw it in my bag..oh well. Again, I love Sheetz as a company..and even a bad Sheetz is still decent. Unfortunately, during the past several visits, we've noticed that other people in their EVs don't seem to want to park within one parking space at the chargers. Thus, not everybody can park at the chargers because one or two vehicles are always parked four or five feet over the line into the next vehicle space. Tonight, I was the third person pulled in and I was taking two spots because the person next to me was well over into the second Bay as well as the other person on the other side of me was over into the next bay as well. A fourth person showed up to charge their vehicle and couldn't fit in. I asked the one person who was in his vehicle to unplug and move over so that the fourth person waiting could pull into the spot and he said no because he didn't want to unplug his vehicle. It's just common decency to only take up one space! I don't know what is happening with the dumbing down of Evie drivers lately. Anyways, my suggestion to the management would be to occasionally take a walk outside in your parking lot to make sure that the EV chargers have only one vehicle per spot and not going over the lines into the next parking spot. Additionally, you may want to occasionally announce on the PA system that if you are charging your EV make sure you're only taking up one parking spot. It seems to be very common sense but we kind of don't seem to have common sense much anymore. It's just a decent thing to do for your neighbor. Some people are traveling a great distance and need to charge their vehicles and they don't need to be delayed. It's one thing if all four chargers are occupied and you have to wait but when there's only three of the four chargers occupied but you can't get to the fourth one because people are improperly parked that's very rude. Management, please follow up on this and try to be diligent so that everybody can charge their vehicle. I'm sure that sheets make some money from the chargers as the people at EV go must pay something to sheets for the use of the chargers, so it's only good business also.
