I was lost during the beginning of my senior year and Ryan guided me through everything. Making a college list to start and explaining the college process, the different portals, and of course the supplementals. This was just the start. From working with Ryan I was already able to get comfortable with the college apps process and the timeline which would leave me with the least amount of stress. College apps is a stressful time and experience but he helps you throughout and ensures that you will meet every deadline. On top of all that is his help on your essays. He first helps explain the prompt and brainstorms various ideas with you. He revises and looks over every essay, giving edits and feedback from an experienced perspective. He helps you boost your activities list to make sure it's the best it can be, and it has descriptions that college admission officers will like. I really am glad I had Ryan as my college tutor and only knowing him from the beginning on August, I feel like we got lots of work done through his guidance. Easily 5 stars

We went to Lyon Learning because they were recommended to us, and it turned out to be a marvelous experience for our child. Clarisse has the right mix of enthusiasm and firmness to get through the Wilson Reading System and the other methods that she uses. Wilson is rigorous and effective, but it is difficult for a young student. Clarisse has a unique talent to keep him on task and motivated as he worked through the system. He has come very far in a short time, which was wonderful. I should also say that, in addition to the in person sessions, she recommended several online exercises to do at home on days that he did not have a session, so our child worked on his reading everyday, which was quite helpful. Also, our experience during the Covid-19 shutdowns has been quite good. Both Clarisse and her assistant Jean have been as effective over zoom as they were in person, which is not easy. We are very happy with Lyon Learning.

Employee Review - Admin assistant…read more I had the pleasure of working for NDNU's admissions and marketing team when they fully transitioned to a graduate university. Being a part of a huge shift was a learning experience and I was grateful to have had the support of several department heads. No one talked down to me or made me feel less than. Working on a campus surrounded by nature and spotting a deer on the daily brought me a sense of presence and peace that I enjoyed on my breaks. I would have stayed with NDNU but I moved out of the SF Bay Area. I enjoyed working with all the faculty and staff, but I especially enjoyed supporting current and future students. Though I was never a student I was impressed by the attention to furthering one's education by promoting small class sizes. What a way to feel seen and heard! Anywho, I'm rambling. If you have an opportunity to attend NDNU or work there, don't hesitate to apply. 4 stars because pay could be higher to meet cost of living in California.

((sniff sniff)) A few years ago I completed my Undergrad in Accounting & Finance here. Last December, I completed my last Graduate class. (Graduation ceremonies occur once a year in May.) NDNU is located in Belmont, surrounded by lush trees, wonderful weather, pretty animals, and even a beautiful mansion (Ralston Hall). NDNU has an extensive faculty of distinguished staff and professors with prestine wisdom and experience. The MBA program follows a stellar curriculum, applying assignments and projects to current, real world/global issues. Another great thing about NDNU is it's comprised of well diversed students with different backgrounds. Having such a diverse group enhances your education and brings more experience to the table, which is required in our global economy. Tuition at NDNU is definitely on the pricier side. However, this is a private university and it's worth it. Classes are intimate, enabling students with the luxury of a more one-on-one type of education. Students are not considered numbers here, but rather treated as well respected peers. Regarding education, you get exactly what you put into it. Each person may have their own opinion of this school, but what really matters is what you take away from what you've learned. NDNU has provided the necessary tools (ie staff, professors, and program), now it's up to each student & what they want to do with it. P.S. I am so done with writing school papers!

My family and I decided to move in October otherwise my daughter would still be attending. This school was everything I was looking for in a 2 year old preschool. Play based and my daughter loved it. The 3yrs programs was just as loving, supportive and nurturing as the 2's program. My daughter had Mrs. Folan and Miss Taylor. WOW, they are amazing at what they do. They seriously taught me how to communicate better with my kiddos. The teacher's really care about the children and provide a great environment to learn all while being play based so the children just have fun. Every child is different and I felt like at Trinity they worked with each individual to fit their needs. I toured five preschools when we moved and not one compared to Trinity. It's a GEM!!!

I highly recommend.

Our son tried to reason with the kid, tried to get his own materials (which he was scolded for) and tried directly asking the instructor for help, a request which was ignored. I also reported this on an email survey that the camp sent out after the first day but received no reply. We decided to totally skip the last two days and have our son learn coding on his iPad instead because he felt like his time was completely going to waste at Wizbots. I would not recommend this camp to Update to respond to the owner's comment: the camp let's 7 year olds sign up and at no point was I contacted and let know that the age of 7 was too young. As can be seen from other reviews, other 7 year olds do sign up and even have good experiences. The issue here was a lack of intervention against a clear behavioral issue and lack of responsiveness to repeated feedback in real time from my son and myself. I still have never been contacted by anyone from wizbots except via this review.

Also, I am a Teacher (at a different elementary school), so my standards are quite high ;-) While working at Serendipity, I was able to get to know administration and staff on a personal basis. I got a behind the scenes view. The truth is that this school is as great as it appears to be. The teachers genuinely care about their students and are extremely talented. Meaghan, the Head of the School, is down-to-earth and compassionate. She deeply cares about the families and staff she serves. My son began Serendipity in TK. He wasn't a cookie cutter child by any means. In fact, he was diagnosed with ADHD and Sensory Processing Disorder during his first year here. When I communicated this to the school, the administration was very supportive and worked with us to make his school year a positive one. This year my son is in Kindergarten and is thriving. His teacher, Ms. Kim, has embraced his many quirks (he loves to sing all day long..as a teacher myself I feel for her!). He has learned invaluable skills such as self regulation, perseverance, communication and self expression. My formerly shy child, has become an outgoing little person who is confident in who he is and isn't afraid to be himself. When you join this gem of a school, you become part of a family. It feels like Cheers where everyone knows your name :-).
