Eventually, my physical therapist kept recommending Pilates to me, and I searched the area for a Pilates instructor who could help me. I called Mercy around June 2023, and Mercy replied that she has worked with individuals with mild to severe conditions and believes she could help me. Although I was reluctant to trust any form of exercise, after two months of pilates sessions with her ONLY once a week, I started noticing more significant changes to my abilities, which was not getting changes from physical therapy. Mercy works on your WHOLE body; it's a holistic approach to bringing your body the best stability so you can do what you want and move how you need to. She keeps a balance between discipline that this art form demands , at the same time making it engaging and fun for her students. I see a new level of enthusiasm in my daughter since she joined here and she looked forward to the class. The teacher , Shruthi Aravindan, completed her Bharatanatyam arangetram in August 2008 at the age of 10. Since then, she has been an ardent performer and instructor. She has an excellent style of teaching and dance with her students throughout the class. I wish the Akruthi school and Shruthi Aravindan very best and look forward to see my daughter's dance ability blooming under capable guidance.
