Non-Transparent Policy - I had inquired about Noonan on the phone and had explained that we were…read morevery interested in finding a good fit for both my children's skill level and teacher-student relationship. So they had offered a "trial class"" - had an okay first class, but it was too basic for my children so we decided to not enroll and enroll in another local swim class. BEWARE - what they didn't tell you is that their trial classes cost the same as a class and they auto-register your child for recurrent classes (despite emailing them that we were not enrolling). My children are all in MULTIPLE activities across San Diego, and never once do people offer a trial class only to CHARGE you if you decline automatic enrollment. Very sneaky policy - will never recommend to anyone as "finding the right fit" for your child is definitely not their top priority.

Generally have been happy for 5 years, but we recently withdrew our kids. The reason was price,…read morewhat started as $80 a month for one child, which I thought was expensive but tolerable, has recently morphed into $295. That's for 2 kids, so let's double the original $80 and account for inflation over 5 years.... I still don't manage to get anywhere near $295. That's ALOT of money just for a few 30 minute lessons. I also have to add that these lessons were rarely a full 30 minutes, mostly because of other kids in the class showing up late and then huge drama as they get in and fuss with their goggles, while my kid (who did show up on time) sits being ignored. Lessons would routinely not get going until 10 minutes in. The teachers and the pool staff were mostly great, but the value for money has disappeared. The staff who took my cancellation didn't even ask why, and the pool staff said we weren't the first. Maybe Covid is a justification but I doubt when things get back to normal the prices will return to 2019 levels - if they do I might consider returning, but for now we have taken our kids to a different school.

Safety warning!!! if you really care about your children safety please avoid this company. Such a…read morepoorly managed group run by unprofessional young people, with a manager whose almost absent and let bunch of kids run the show. I signed up my child for surfing camp in July, on his very first day we noticed they assigned big number of kids to each guard which was concerning. Our son and the kids were swimming in different directions without any supervision, some went deep and their guards didn't notice or try to stop him. We left immediately and decided to withdraw due to the safety concerns. That girl Peg kept calling us everyday wanting to speak with our son to convince him to come back, but my son felt uncomfortable and unsafe and refused to go back as he realized he was not supervised in the deep ocean. Eventually they agreed to refund us, and here I am now 6 months later and didn't get my refund despite multiple emails with that girl Peg and her absent Superviser Paul. I am grateful that we were present that day and our child is safe, but such a waste of money and frustrating experience. I don't recommend risking it with this group at all.

Buyer beware!! Be careful signing up for this camp! I signed my son up in May for an August camp…read moreand the same day he let me know he really did not want to do, he was in tears. I sent a message right away to let them know this as this isn't an inexpensive camp, $550 for 5 half days. I figured letting them know the same day with over 2 months notice, they could refund 100% of my money. This was not the case, I spoke with Peg several times. The first time to explain why my son did not want to participate. The second time I called, she let me know she talked to the board and they were deciding what they'd be able to refund. I still didn't hear anything and emailed at the end of July. No response so I called in August before the camp was starting and she let me know they could not refund the whole amount. They kept $75. This did not feel right when I had given ample notice that my son would not participate. In my opinion this was taking advantage of the consumer. I would not recommend doing business with this camp.
