When I got it back, the intonation was still off and I'm not sure they really did anything. They also told me it would be available on Tuesday but they never called. When I called they were closed. I guess they closed early for the holidays. I left a voicemail and never got a call back. I ended up having to call them a few days later and was told it was ready. It would have been nice to get a call telling me what was done and when it was ready. TLDR: Might be a good shop but poor communication means I'll go elsewhere.

Brett Morrison greeted me upon entering and gave me the tour of his cute little boutique guitar shop. I call it boutique because they have their own line of guitars and are so far removed from the heartless Guitar Center experience. They are a huge breath of fresh air in a soulless world of shopping mass produced guitars that are average at best. Their guitars are not for beginners looking for cheap $150 starter guitar kits. But if you have been playing for a few years and like me know that it's more than just a passing interest, they have some wonderful instruments. They have their own guitar line designed to their specs and after handling them I can tell you that the construction and finish on them are excellent! I found a few that really peaked my interest, and Brent spent a lot of time with me showing me different guitars and just shooting the breeze with me, without the hard sell which was much appreciated. Check this place out if you're n the neighborhood, you won't be disappointed.

Imagine driving an hour just to find out your class is canceled--not just once, but most of the time. We clearly communicated and requested that they notify us at least a few hours in advance so we wouldn't waste the trip, but they never did. They never apologize or offer any consideration, yet if you try to reschedule, they make you pay. Stay away from this school--you don't want the disappointment.

I bought my harp from Minda about this time last year. Stellar service. She took the time to work…read morewith me and identify the harp for me. It's a year later, and I love it. Minda also teaches lessons, so I signed right up. Great experience. She's patient, willing to explain things to my engineering brain, and brilliant. More, when it came time to change a string, Minda gave me a lesson. She even let me change a few strings on a harp she was working on. Telling me how to do it, showing me how to do it, then letting me do it but talking me through each step. Finally, doing it on my own but with her watching. Great way of learning. I was able to go home and confidently change the string myself. Five of five stars. And an extra star because she's just so darn nice about it.

I am 41 years old and never picked up a drum stick in my life until this week. Within one lesson, I decided on not only my grip but that I wanted a drum set- a decision not to take lightly as a kit takes up square footage in your home and it's a "loud" instrument. He did not push me to purchase a kit either. He gave me numerous recommendations tailored to my 1230 sq ft home. I will continue my lessons in his studio as it's a really badass set up and I enjoy playing with him, despite drumming appearing to be a "solo" instrument to us noobs.
