My child attended lessons here and would come out upset thinking the teacher was angry with her…read more When questioned why she felt this way my daughter told me "she doesn't tell me that's she's mad but when I do something wrong she takes a deep breath or sighs." Homework is required for 30 minutes 5 to 7 days a week. You're required to sign and date a four page policies and procedures document. In the four page document, you will find you must pay 3 months in advance which is close to $400. If you decide to cancel anytime within this 3 month period, you will "forfeit" your tuition. You're only allowed one make-up lesson within a 3 month period (if the schedule allows). If your child is sick more than one time in a 3 month period, you will be paying for a lesson your child will never receive. There is a $35 late fee if you do not pay your 3 month tuition within 5 days of the electronic invoice. This invoice is sent a month ahead of time. You're not allowed in the 'studio' (house) during lessons and must wait in your car until lessons are over. Additionally, be sure of your commitment before ordering books which you're not allowed to return to the music store (over $60 to start) or the app which is used with lessons ($30 access fee). After providing notification of our decision to discontinue lessons at the end of our 3 month period, the teacher did not reply to our correspondence or thank us for the business.

.I took a 2500.00 Martin Guitar into this shop because of an anoying buzz that it was making when…read morethe open B string was played. I thought that maybe the string was low in the nut, and buzzing on a fret. I just could not find the problem. This guy ( the owner) played my guitar and told me that the problem was the INTONATION. What ? Intonation ? What does Intonation have to do with a buzzing problem ? Answer, NOTHING . This guy makes guitars, I bet they are fine guitars. He may even take more time when making them than a larger producer of guitars. AND, maybe the intonation on my Martin is not perfectm, so be it. BUT, his attitude was evident to me. He had a disrespect for my Martin. He just wanted to critize it for not being perfectly intonated. ( potentially ). I later found out where the buzz was comming from, and it had nothing to do with intonation. Several months befor this, I took a friend there to have work done on a stand up bass. On that day he showed me one of his guitars. I told him about my martin that day. I thik he remembered me when I came back with my Martin, and just wanted me to feel like " you should have bought one of mine, and not that mass produced Martin. I thik this is a bad attitude And that attitude blinded him to finding the real problem with my guitar. I will never visit his shop again , nor recomend him to anyone.
