This school is wonderful. Parking and pick up can be frustrating sometimes but that's on the lazy parents who do not want to park appropriately and walk a few feet to pick up their children. The staff tho is amazing I've never had any issues or back talk or rudeness from anyone. If my kid wasn't feeling well they would call me immediately. If my kid had an issue with another child they would call me and explain the situation or I could easily text the teacher and she would handle it. The teachers seemed very interested in my kids education as both of them also require IEP for speech delay and autism. I just felt really heard with any concerns and they show genuine interest in my kids me tal well being as well as education I hope they can stay here instead of starting at another school. The other two options don't look very good.

One teacher I would especially love to recognize is Miss Langman. She is one of the most professional yet fun teachers around. If I was in elementary school, I would want her as my teacher and if I had a kid, I would want her as my kids teacher. She always makes it a fun experience with singing and dancing, even connecting songs and dances to lessons to help the kiddos remember, but also keeps it grounded by doing meditations and affirmations with the kids. She maintains an amazing patience with her kids and always lends a helping hand when teaching. She loves each and every kid and those kids love her. Seeing them grow up and go through different grades and still getting excited to see Miss Langman in the halls is truly heartwarming. Everyone across the school knows her for her hard work, dedication, and just in general brightness. Kids from other kindergarten classes even love coming into her room. She truly pours her heart and soul into this school and these kiddos and it shines through in everything she does each and every day. I truly cannot express enough how much of an amazing teacher she is. She makes school fun and makes the kids excited to come in everyday. Thank you Miss Langman for everything you do for this school and thank you to all the other staff as well that make this school such a great and loving environment. I wouldn't want to volunteer anywhere else!! :)

From my first contact with the staff and administration, you could tell this place was about providing a nurturing and excellent environment to the children. This school really does foster diversity. It's not just words that are used in advertisement. They foster those values in the classroom and everyone is made to feel included in all they do. In short, they practice what they preach. The academics are excellent. I'm a believer in giving children a balanced learning environment. Hundreds of hours of homework does not make a child enjoy learning. I like that there is work time and play time appropriate for the age. And honestly, at these grade levels, too much homework equates to extra work for the parents. This school chooses an appropriate amount of work for each grade level. My son has thrived since moving to this school. FLA has been a true blessing to our family. I'm so happy we found this school and I'm forever grateful to all the teachers and administrative staff. My son once again has a love for school.

The front office people are all rude, the school is not that clean or fun. Right when I went inside safekey to pickup my child, the teacher was yelling and cursing at my kid because she spilt one drop of mango wango juice. And then I see this kid becoming bill nye and pouring a pack of ranch mixed with dragon passion juice together and pouring it on another one of my autistic child's head. Unacceptable. Then, I heard kids are vaping and my child came home saying that it was weewee growing juice? What the hell. I caught him vaping outside when I went to pick him up. Mind you this kid still drinks breast milk? I hate this school. Don't take your child here.

There's a level of care and awareness here that goes beyond curriculum and shows up in how students are supported day to day. The environment feels calm, respectful, and focused. Communication has been clear and consistent, and when questions or needs arise, the team is responsive and thoughtful in how they handle them. What I appreciate most is that the school recognizes that students don't all learn or grow in the same way. There's flexibility and understanding built into the structure, which allows students to stay engaged without feeling pressured into a one-size-fits-all system. Overall, Journey Education feels like a place where students are seen, supported, and given the space to develop at their own pace. We've been grateful for the experience. I would love to see a foreign language offering added in the future.

The small class sizes make a huge difference because every child really gets individual attention and support. The teachers truly care about the students and are very involved in helping them grow both academically and personally. One thing I really appreciate about the school is the strong sense of community. The staff is welcoming, communication with parents is great, and it genuinely feels like the teachers and administrators are invested in each child's success. My son has built confidence, strong friendships, and a love for learning during his time here. Journey also does a great job of focusing on character, kindness, and leadership, not just academics. It's a safe, supportive environment where kids can really thrive. I'm very grateful we found this school and highly recommend it to any family looking for a nurturing and academically strong place for their children.
