One Stop Market has two locations- Cabot St. and Rantoul St. (One Stop II). One Stop II was actually the FIRST one stop, but they opened up the bigger Cabot St. location, which has become the headquarters. I frequent both locations for booze, cat food, slush puppies, and so much more! I am not a Keno player, but the owner set up a keno playing/scratch ticket scratching area. You can go in, buy a coffee and paper, and keno your life away. They even have a KENO tv in the window for those folks who can't even smoke a butt without playing KENO! I am sure this business is doing well. I am very impressed with the Cabot St. location's wine selection. They have everything from EL CHEAPO to EL NOT SO CHEAPO. Both locations also let you into the beer cooler for cases. I am always chatting it up with the staff there. They are extremely friendly and always offer the ladies a werthers. Some may find it sketchy, but I find it a kind gesture. I am not sure about the Cabot St. location, but the Rantoul St. one is open 24 hrs. They do need to decide if they are going to be the next Henry's or the next Family Dollar - the 'made for food service' stuff that isn't supposed to be sold in a grocery store is a little odd. I had a quick trip to the North Shore to visit in-laws and I was flying out a couple days later on a business trip out of Logan. What I forgot to think of on my trip is that my antibiotic supply for a recent spider bite was nearly exhausted. I had one more refill on this script but it was called in to a Walgreens near my home in NY and it was a Sunday. I decided to visit the Beverly store first thing Monday morning to see if there was any way I could transfer my reservation there or have my Doctor call them. I was greeted by a female pharmacist who listened to my shortened version of my dilemma and she quickly said "no problem let me see what I can do". She found me in the Walgreens system and was able to transfer my order to Beverly. Next challenge was to make sure NY insurance would cover it. She asked me to give her 10 minutes so I did a quick shopping spree around the store. I returned in what was probably 8 minutes and she had my order filled and fully covered by insurance. I know this isn't the most interesting review but the exceptional care and attention I was given was honestly unexpected and refreshing. Great job to this employee and her team.
