I am constantly given incorrect information about medications that I need in order to function, and whenever I try to give any feedback, the employees have such a bad attitude that I genuinely wonder if they knew they were going to be providing customer service before they decided to take this job. No boss I have ever had would allow me to behave the way they do in front of a customer. Today I did something that is quite rare for me - I asked to speak to the pharmacy manager. Before I could even get to the reason why I was displeased, ***OLIVIA*** interrupted me in the middle of my sentence to claim (inaccurately, and in a particularly arrogant and patronizing tone) that she had said something completely different to me that morning. Which was all the more unprofessional, because she was not part of the conversation to begin with, and if I am asking to give feedback to your manager, the least you could be expected to do as an employee is to allow that feedback to be heard. This is not something that only *I* have an issue with. It is a common theme in all the online reviews that have been posted in the past several years, and it's something I've experienced at multiple Walgreens locations. No other pharmacy I go to struggles this much to tell me accurately whether they have a medication in stock and a general estimate of when it will be ready, because that is one of the most simple and essential functions of a pharmacy employee. But at Walgreens, they will tell you whatever answer they think gets you out of their hair fastest, then when you come back and find out that they lied to you, they will act like you're expecting a Herculean feat of advanced pharmacology instead of simple accurate information. And if you have any issue with their attitudes, apparently they'll interrupt you before you can even complain to cover their own butts. Medications are not something frivolous, they are important things that people put into their bodies every day in order to live healthy and productive lives. Honesty, common sense, and human decency should be the bare minimum. And no business should treat their customers like an inconvenience, but it is especially egregious when a pharmacy does so. I got my prescriptions from Walgreens for the first 29 years of my life, and I never will again for as long as I live. And after today's experience - the final straw, if you will - I will never spend another penny at Walgreens for any household items either. I'm not sure if the management is too incompetent to oversee and correct these issues, or if they simply don't care. Either way, it's an abject embarrassment.

I don't know about prescriptions anymore as I haven't had anything filled at a CVS in years. I've had really great service at the front registers the last few times I've been in this store. Such chatty and helpful cashiers. I don't normally like to use the self-service checkouts because I like to keep actual human beings employed. The ladies at the registers - particularly in the last two weeks - have been very delightful. They also have really decent local souvenirs here in addition to pro sports merchandise.

It was obviously more than we originally thought of doing, but we are sure we won't regret it in the future. The only thing that didn't make us happy, and why this isn't four stars, was the price tag. We picked the chair we liked best & thought the price was what was on the tag. There were options below the big price, like heat & massage, which were things that could be added to the base. Oh, but the material that the chair used was on that list (which we didn't realize because it was not a common name). It was not in the large number on the price tag and added $900 to the price. We didn't know this until we were checking out. We do not blame Terri for this, but the company that thought this was a good idea. The tag should have had the final price, before taxes & delivery not the base price if you could buy it off of the floor like we did.

Due to a lot of organizational problems at my doctor's office, this was pretty tricky but Pure Compounding managed to make this happen and I was able to pick up my prescription on a Saturday. Granted, I've only had 1 transaction so far with them, but I would give them 6 stars out of 5 at the moment if it were possible. The same medication that they're able to fill in usually under an hour takes Martin Avenue 72 hours! If you're familiar with Wellness Health, Park Compounding or Hopewell Pharmacy, these guys are on par if not better than them for specialized methylcobalamin treatment. They do regular potency checks on their methylcobalamin and provided me with a copy of this documentation upon request. They are also are able to ship out of state. The only strange thing is that they weren't able to get proper reimbursement from my insurance when Park Compounding Pharmacy was able to. However, I'm able to claim this on my own with my insurance and it saves me $25-$30/month on shipping when I'm in Illinois!

Additionally, I qualified for the third booster for people with conditions that would warrant the third shot. According to what I read I just needed to self report that I qualified HOWEVER, I was made to disclose my medical condition where they went to the pharmacist then to see if they were going to give me the shot. This was a gross violation of my privacy rights. They don't seem to be well versed on the protocols for administering the third shot. That said, the staff can be wonderful as well. It is just that some are true gems and others not so much. I felt like I was being treated like someone trying to pull a scam until they made me spill my guts and realized I did in fact qualify. I also hope the result was a little shame for prying when they saw I had felt so uncomfortable with the position they put me in.

I expressed to her my frustration and said that I had to speak with the pharmacist and couldn't wait on hold anymore, since I had to leave for work. The Store Manager said in a very snarky tone, "Okay, bye," and hung up on me. In so doing, she denied me my legal right to speak with my pharmacist, and that constitutes refusal of care. That is completely unacceptable. I wasn't rude to her. I didn't use profanity, nor did I insult anyone.
