It also is one…read moreof the smaller spots, only about 5 acres, It's located on the same site as the US Dept of Agriculture Research Center and the High Plains Arboretum so finding your way here can be somewhat of a challenge if you miss the signs directing you to it along the gravel roads. Although it isn't that large, it still has all things associated with these spots -- the columbarium, the shelter for the services, the flags and the grave locator book and, of course, the perfectly laid out white crosses, decorated with flags and flowers on memorial day and flowers at other times. Despite being in this slightly out of the way location, and not being a massive cemetery, there was quite a bit of traffic during my visit. Some people came to bring flowers, others just to stand by a particular marker, and still others who did as I did, walk amongst the markers and pay respects. It's a nice location, away from the highways, and the small size makes it easy to visit and not be overwhelmed

Our baby passed away and we needed help with the cremation of his ashes. I called a few funeral homes that were recommended by the hospital and after calling all 3 we decided to go with Bohlender and I'm glad we did. I spoke to Kristin Bohlender who is the owner and she is so kind, warm and had such a comforting voice. She was very helpful with the process and helping me understand the next steps. I spoke with several staff members over the course of coordinating the ashes being sent back to me as we do not live in Colorado and everyone at Bohlender is all so nice, helpful, warm and caring. They all really care about what they do and they do it with such gentleness, professionalism, especially with such a delicate matter. I've coordinated with other funeral homes in the past when relatives of mine have passed and I think Bohlender is the best. I HIGHLY recommend them.
