We paid $140 just for two technicians to tell us it couldn't be fixed. On top of that, they gave us an estimate of $12k+ for a new boiler--not including labor or tax--and said a salesperson would follow up with final pricing. At that point, we knew we were looking at a bill we simply couldn't afford. To my husband, I suggested reaching out to Bagniefski, since they did an amazing (and affordable) job fixing our AC last year. Even though I emailed after hours, Lance responded first thing the next morning and scheduled an inspection. The best part? The inspection was completely free. He just needed to see what type of boiler we had so he could explore options for us. Lance came out the very next morning, remembered us, and was professional and respectful as always. Within minutes, he already had a good idea of what he could offer. After hearing about the previous quote, he was honest and said it sounded high--and reassured us he could find something more affordable. He took notes, snapped a few photos, and told us he'd follow up soon. Not even an hour later, we received multiple quotes--and WOW. We were beyond relieved at the difference. Unfortunately, our experience has been very disappointing. The first time we called them for an AC issue, we paid the required $100 service fee. After diagnosing the problem, we were told it was not covered under the warranty and were given a very high repair quote. We ended up hiring a different company. More recently, our heater was not warming the basement. Again, we paid the $100 service fee for Schneider to come out. Two technicians arrived, one was in training and spent less than 20 minutes inside inspecting the furnace. They told us the damper was not working and that it was not covered under warranty. We were quoted $500 to replace the part, with the warning that the cost could increase once work began. The guys remained outside talking to my husband about deer hunting for quite a while. After the visit, we received a bill for $205 -- more than double the service call fee. When we questioned the charge, we were told it was based on GPS tracking showing the technicians were on our property. My husband explained that a significant portion of that time was spent outside discussing deer hunting and other chit chat and not to mention one of the technicians was in training. We do not feel it is reasonable to be billed for time that was not spent actively diagnosing or repairing our furnace. He offered to pay half but they refused to resolve this issue. There was no flexibility or willingness to review the charge. Based on our experience, we would encourage homeowners to definitely consider using another company, which we did at a extremely lower quote to replace what was explained to us, as a simple part replacement. Or get clear details on Schneider's billing policies before proceeding with this company. They are a huge rip off and seem to get away with it often by their rude demeanor over the phone.

He was quick to arrive, cordial and seemingly attentive to the conversation. The issues came when he sent one of his employees to do what we discussed. Instead of completing the additions needed and *getting the water softener back online for use*, Blake's employee only completed the additions. The piping to the softener is now cut and we can't even use the softener. We started with a leaking softener, but now after Mike Sherman's "repairs" we can't use it at all. Blake was given a chance to fix the mistake before I resorted to this review. I've saved all our text convo. He stated that, "we did what was discussed." You be the judge.

I really loved Todd when he first came to look at our furnace. Although, when two of his workers…read morecame to put in a new furnace today, I was very upset. They are currently still at my house and I work from home. Before they started, my boyfriend asked them if they could try to be quiet during the day because I am supposed to be on calls all-day. They agreed that they would be quiet. It has now been about 5 hours of screaming, cursing, singing, and loud music and I have gotten fed up with it. I am completely fine with the loud noises that it takes to be putting in a new furnace (drilling, pounding, etc.) But I am not okay with the cursing, screaming, singing, and loud music that has been happening all day. I had to contact my manager and let her know that I was unable to do my full job today because of their noise. I am very sad to write this review because of how nice and understanding Todd was, but the workers were just not good.
