I went to his office at South Shore Family Medical, Beach 54th St, Rockaway, NY, and except for the…read morefirst two visits when I saw a Nurse Practitioner, Rayven Mason, the only people in the exam room with me were young inept NURSING STUDENTS. This was after a wait time of 1 to 2.5 hrs Every Time, just to get a med refill. The last time, when I went to the pharmacy to get my refill, I found that the UNLICENSED NURSING STUDENT GAVE ME THE WRONG DOSAGE. A secretary got Rayven to order the right dosage. But when I called the office to tell Rayven I refuse to see unlicensed students again, I was told she was unavailable, and she did not respond to the two call-back messages I left. I was later told it's a VIOLATION for nursing students to work with patients IN ANY WAY, UNLESS A LICENSED MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL IS PRESENT IN THE ROOM, OVERSEEING THE INTERACTION BETWEEN PATENT AND STUDENT! I don't understand how this is allowed to go on.

This office is horrible you never get to see the doctor only the multiple NPs or PAs he has as…read morestaff. They are almost all new graduates. The secretary at Baldwin office is attitudinal and gets aggravated when you call for referrals or refills for prescriptions. Not like I ever asked for sleeping meds or ant narcotic pain medications. Don't go here. They don't input your meds that you're on. It is just a mill to see as many patients as possible in a day. Don't even get examined completely.
