When I explained to them that that is not at all how it was presented to me and that I expected to pay a flat rate of the package cost with no interest rate they proceeded to explain it to me 20 more times that the package deal was not 0%, but really it was that they would discount the package to OFF SET the cost of the interest rate, and I kept explaining that is not at all how it was presented to me two different times months apart I told them that this was not transparent, and it was underhanded, and if I was sold a package for $1000 and was told interest would be covered then I would expect to only pay $1000 not $1000 +37% interest rate. I believe I had recieved a gift certificate from for a free custom facial. I thought oh I'll go get a free facial to make this hormonal acne feel better. Then go back to where I was going. No way I would drive so far. I was in a lot of pain. I seriously was so grateful I worked from home as I would ice my face while I would work. I wanted to put a bag over my head. I was so embarrassed. My sweet and experienced esthetician Stacie told me I might be a candidate for an acne facial. I thought ok. Jennifer at the front verified my insurance and for many of my facials it was covered by my health insurance. I have been consistent with medication, supplements, acne facial monthly paid by my insurance, as I ran out of my own skin care products I replaced with whatever they recommended. I used medical grade products prior to the last year and half when I ran out and didn't stock back up. My poor skin was out of control. Everything they have recommend has worked. I will say I'm a little sensitive to chemical peels and even though I do them just not as often. So if you are suffering from hormonal or teen acne I highly recommend Davida. If you wanting to feel more youthful or wonder how I do it. Than you will want to stock up on products and bank for a procedure depending on their recommendations. My hair was already sun-blonde--I just wanted it lighter with cool, bright tones. The result was the opposite. My hair was taken down to a dark brown with no blonde tones at all. I contacted the salon and was offered a redo with a senior stylist the following Tuesday. I later requested a refund instead, since my hair now needed major correction, but was told the redo would be free. At my appointment, the senior stylist did her part by fixing the color. However, at the end--after multiple bowls of product and no prior pricing discussion--the manager informed me I owed an additional $300. This directly contradicted what I was told earlier about the service being free. Instead of honoring the original $200 or making the correction right, I ended up paying for the initial mistake plus more on top. There was no upfront communication about added costs, which is unacceptable. The senior stylist was professional and did manage to make it back to the original color, but the management and billing practices were misleading and unprofessional. I will not be returning.
