This was a pretty cool spot to pass the time while we were visiting the city. I think it's more fun for kids than adults. There's a small planetarium, however the main projector was not working while we were there. The operator of the projector was very nice though. He put on a Sesame Street show on a square projector for the kids, which was nice of him, however the show was so boring that everyone left before it was over. The IMAX show/theatre was the coolest thing there, in my opinion. There are a few displays and interactive things there that kids may like. Overall, it's an ok place to visit for something to do that's family friendly...mostly to entertain the kiddos.

We visited this place as we were in town for an event. This place is more for little kids then a real science museum. However we did enjoy the 3D movies of the solar system and puppies. In my opinion it was a bit expensive for what they had to offer, but if you are in town and have infants then this maybe a spot you wanna take them.

Awesome Hands-on Exhibits! We took our two (2 & 4 year-old) grands here today, while on a visit from out of town. We and the kids loved it! There was so much for them to see and do, that the time just flew by! We are from Chicago, and have been going to and enjoying the Museum of Science and Industry all of our lives, but I feel this one is better and more accessible for kids their ages. If we ever come back to Shreveport, this will be a repeat visit!

Great science museum. Fun for all ages. We spent several hours here. Definitely worth the $10 admission.

Nice museum. I saw the Bodies Revealed exhibit there just before closing time, and was the only patron in the building.

Shreveport's very own Exploratorium. Science! Imax! Reptiles! Extremely close to the downtown hotels, and wonderful for kids.

I saw Blue Man Group here last night, as a belated birthday present from my wife (We've always wanted to catch them out in Vegas at the Venetian, but usually get distracted by something else or other once we're out there, which is easy to do!). We are so thrilled to have finally caught their show after all these years! And there's no place we would have rather seen BMG other than The Venetian! The Strand was the perfect host for this show! Ours happened to be next to the elevators and it really wasn't that bad. The table dealers were pretty nice, and this extends to our entire group as I made a point of wandering around and catching up with folks there celebrating my cousin's birthday party. The Vintage @ Bally's still a fantastic place to eat and Ben is still there. Slots didn't seem to be very loose here, but the blackjack table play seemed to be a good time collectively. The place started to thin out around 11:30 PM and I think I petered out a couple hours after that. Parking right across the street is pretty handy. If they ever clean up around there's a great walkway from the hotel away from the river with a couple of restaurants to try. We tried the Blind Tiger and I will add a review of that place also. Pretty easy to drop in, park, then leave and get right back on I-20 for the drive back to Dallas. Few suspect people between the hotel and restaurant but never felt unsafe. There wasn't much of a club party feel this Saturday night at Bally's so it seems to have turned into a low-key kind of place. Across the board though really nice folks and we are not big gamblers either so appeared to be genuine. First floor has the tables and some slots. Second floor has all the slots, lots of smoking, and the high limit room. Third floor is like where they put all the leftover machines that nobody plays anymore...LOL...

Hahaha. The slots are bad! It doesn't pay out. Go somewhere else. I won't be back again, ever!read more
