The key I have found really is ;that you wait long enough in between each haircut ,so you get the haircut that you want! I know that sounds ridiculous, but it's a fact. I used to be a barber and things are not what they used to be! The people who are graduating from barber school or beauty school now, didn't learn the way I did. It used to be all about what the customer wants; not what your hairdresser wants. With that said this isn't a bad place to go, it might take you a few haircuts to find the person you want to do yours; and the only way you can do that, is to look at other people's haircut and then ask them! It is a membership. It was explained to me that each month I buy a beard trim. If I do not use it the trims build up. I can use them when I like. Since I do not have my beard trimmed monthly I canceled. I had 2 beard trims built up. As per what I was told I could use them when I want since I bought them. That was a lie. I specifically told them I may not be in monthly and they told me no worries as the build up I can use them at anytime. What they did NOT tell me is that when you cancel the built up trims get deleted. They deceived me. I consider this to be fraud. Knowing I would not be in monthly they said whatever to convince me to join. How sick! I canceled, won't return, bad management! Deceptive practices. read more

They Gave away my appointment while I waited in the bar and the lobby(two seperate rooms seperated by glass). after checking in with a receptionist, then sat in bar 15 minutes early, then 20 minutes after my appointment. I stood up asked to cancel and left, after getting home I called and asked who I was supposed to have, they said Mackenzie. I said why did I never get called, The girl on the phone said "she wasnt told you were here". So either the lady (who was only sitting at the desk for like 10 minutes) failed in her job, or "mackenzie" failed by not asking my name or reading the check in (if the girl who checked me in did her job) while I sat there the entire time. read more

I went here without a reservation and they were able to get me in but it was a 45 min wait. I had never been here and just hung out in the bar drank a couple beers and waited. Time went by pretty quick and the haircut was phenomenal. My stylist was courteous and attentive and cut my hair just how I asked. It was. I sent my husband here before our wedding to get his hair cut, basically in a simple mullet - a little shorter on the lower sides (he brought in a photo of what he wanted and showed the gal as well) and his hair was ruined. His hair was cut SO short on the sides ALL the way up to the top of his head, way too high up and nothing like the photo. He said the lady cutting it could tell he didn't like it as it didn't look like what he asked for and just said sorry, but that obviously doesn't help when they hair is all gone on the sides. It was super unfortunate that it was his hair for our wedding too. We don't recommend from his experience. read more

I went in for haircut and color wash. The hair stylist didn't even pay attention to how I wore my hair. She cut it completely different than what i asked and looked like a bowl cut when she was done. Then she permitted colored my hair and turned it bright red and brown. My hair was salt and pepper so imagine how surprised I was. I went someplace else to try and fix it but now I am stuck with Light red hair. Next time I want an over priced screw up I will go get a $10 haircut instead of a 113 dollar haircut. Highly recommend staying away from this place. Update review, while the haircut and color were horrible or even the worst I have ever gotten, the management reached out and made this right. They tracked me down and not only fixed the situation but handled it very professionally. Highly impressed! Having heard good things, I decided to check out this upscale groomers and could not be more pleased. This is hands down the most civilized way to get a haircut that I've ever experienced. Apart from the delightful work my stylist did, I was particularly charmed by the opportunity to have a scotch (incidentally, S&S has one of the most well curated selections of distillates I've ever seen) while waiting. Keep in mind, this review is only for their soft opening, so some hiccups are to be expected early. Not sure if I was at a bar for "bro's" or a salon or a barber shop. To me, it felt like they want to be all of them, but none of them were done well. This is the fourth location in a chain, originally from Omaha Nebraska. The idea being you show up, either have a cocktail or beer as part of your salon service, before or after your appointment. Upon checking in, I was directed to the bar, where I sort of sat aimlessly. No one spoke to me, no one offered a drink, and no one said hello. After sitting 15 minutes, I was mistaken for someone else, at my appointment time. Once I told them who I was, I was told it would be a few more minutes. 12 minutes after my scheduled appointment time, another person came back to get me and said she'd be doing my haircut. My appointment was for a head shave, however no one seemed to know what I was getting, and I was asked what services I was there for. The girl that cut my hair was nice, and she did a decent job. however it was like on the job training - as my head was being shaved, two people who also worked there stood around and watched my head get shaved. It was very awkward. The girls that work there, already seem to be a bit dramatic. You don't find this drama at a regular barber shop. Not that this is it your old man's barbershop, but it's what guys expect when they come in for a haircut or shave. The space is nice and I'm sure they'll do OK, but it is expensive given the places you can go for a haircut. Also, no drama please. Just the service I pay for, well done. read more

I really was excited about this place when I first saw they were coming to OKC. They have a very nicely decorated interior and fit the Tract 30 area of Chisholm Creek well. The clientele that frequents other shops here will definitely like this option. The owner Kyle is very friendly and is very engaged with the patrons. The staff ranges from licensed cosmetology personnel to licensed barbers. Unfortunately you don't know ahead of time u less you call, so it's probably best to call. The great thing is online appointment bookings. In today's busy world, this is amazing and should be implemented everywhere. There are many memberships which have names based off of aged scotch to go with the name. This is fun, but you kind of have to know what they are referring to to really understand. The plus for many will be the bar/lounge area. I don't drink alcohol, so I was able to enjoy a coke. Other friends of mine who have visited also really like that part so you won't be disappointed when it comes to that. read more

Do not go to Candy. I read reviews for this place and called up and booked, I got whoever was open. When I got there I told her that I do a fade starting at a 1. She said they don't use guards and to start at a 2. I agreed then she proceeded to cut the entire left side of my head in a 2. I then had her use a 1.5 near the bottom so it would taper and look more like a fade. She didn't blend the fade so there was a clear distinction where she went from a 1.5 to a 2. I also got a beard sculpt as they call it, and she then left the left side of my beard 1/2 inch higher than the right side. At this point I was so angry I just said "it looks great" and went and got my drink and left. This "super cuts" haircut WAS NOT worth the $30 I paid for it and the beard sculpt was not worth the $35. I will not go here or recommend it to anyone. It's overpriced and not worth it. read more

This is a solid place for a custom cut and shave by very well-trained and very personable barber by the name of Keegan. She listens, gives you exactly the cut you asked for, and has a terrific conversation with you during the process. Cut, beard trim and straight razor neck shave, all perfect, with hot towels and excellent product in the offing. This place also has a bar, part of the experience and part of the price. The bar has great options for bourbon and scotch and you get a drink of choice for your cut but can hang around as long as you want. It's a bit disorganized during high traffic times and you might wait a bit, but the environment, drinks, and cut are all worth it. I was here because my regular barber is out of town, and I'll be scolded if I cheat again, but Keegan's service and the delicious Manhattan were both worthy replacements in a pinch. read more

Nice place; inexperienced barbers. This was their soft open, but it doesn't bode well for the launch. The space is gorgeous, the concept promising, and the equipment premium. Despite all of this, 3 friends and I received similar bad haircuts. We all asked for different styles and got different barbers, yet we left wearing the same look of shame and bad fade. All of them had been cutting hair for over a year but had just started barbering a couple weeks before. Sounds like everyone got the same recent training. The young woman who cut my hair was friendly enough, but I'd rather get my hair cut at Capital City or Weldon Jack and buy my own scotch. I love the concept. I may even come here for drinks after work since it's nearby, but until they get more experience or training from someone who has it, I'm not getting my hair cut here again. read more

I've now been a few times and see Chelsea for the service and she's great! The whole experience is enjoyable really, you check in at the bar, grab a good beverage and relax for a few before the stylist comes to get you. I book online, get text reminders, super convenient and so far she's always on time. The bar is great, I think the drinks are a bit pricy but are strong. I went and sat down, told her what I wanted done, "haircut and beard trim" and she told me it was a separate appointment for a beard trim. (Luckily though she was able to get it all done in the one appointment.) I feel like they should have asked me what I wanted when I scheduled the appointment. Anyways, we got all done and she did a great job and it was a very pleasurable experience. I went to pay and the lady said it was $50!! I about had a heart attack. So $60 with tip and all.
