This review is for the Drs. Dr. B and PA. Yaseen. They are great. Very attentive and compassionate people. They truly care about your well being and offer the best care they can. Smart and diligent. They listen to what you have to say and don't rush you out of the office. The only thing that bothered me is recently the front office has been slacking. Whoever answers the phone for appts should be better at service, I'm not too sure of the name I think Lashonda answered the phone and left me on hold for over 15 mins and then nothing so that was a bit strange, this actually happened two days in a row so maybe they need more help but it's not very professional as a front office representative. Anyway if you can get your appt without any hassles then you are golden with Dr Bandukwala and PA Yaseen if you're a endo/kidney patient. read more

Dr. Chang, is rated among the best endocrinologists year by year by his peers. Kayla, Medical Assistant, was savior like, professional, and a good customer-service listener. The doctor's phone system is cumbersome and you're on hold forever, but I was able to reach Kayla. She brought me peace of mind to manage just a couple of simple administrative tasks. She stands out as she was able to address my inquiries and follow through. I was upset about the phone system and the whole time. And I advise that the doctor upgrade the phone system and she heard me be upset and she handled it well. I was looking for a primary care and endocrinologist and ended up seeing PA Yaseen a couple of times now, and every visit has been excellent. He's incredibly thorough, takes the time to really listen, and explains things in a way that actually makes sense, lol. Came to the Irvine office for my first appointment. Dr. Yacoob was nice, but the office staff was rude. One woman in particular has a nasty way of speaking to literally everyone. Bad first impression. Come back for a follow up procedure to be told to come back later because the technician was stuck in traffic. They'll charge you a $50 no show fee, but if they no-show on you, they don't even apologize or try to call you. I will not be going back! read more

I have been trying to get a billing issue straightened out with this business for months where they need to rebill my insurance and they either never pick up the phone or never call back. I have called, gone in person and also had my insurance call on multiple occasions and have been able to speak to anyone or connect in any meaningful way to assess a single, but large bill dating from 2021. read more

Just came from my appointment with Dr. Napoli. I can't say enough great things about her - but the most important thing is that she really listens and I feel like she HEARS ME. Sometimes I go in feeling hopeless but leave with a great feeling that I'm ok and that I have the best care. I also needed some bloodwork done while I was there and had it drawn by a new phlebotomist named Sabrina. She was delightful and very upbeat and friendly. I'm usually pretty anxious getting my blood drawn but she made the experience very easy with no anxiety at all on my part! I will request Sabrina in the future! Avoid this place at all cost. My first experience here was abysmal. None of the staff no what's going on. Dr. Monica Harms has no clue what tests are even available. After the tests were ordered I spotted several mistakes. No follow ups. Would not release my test results to me until I came in and pressed the staff for them. Found out I have serious medical condition, no one called to tell me. Do not use this place. Horribly run. Terrible Dr's. And while the office staff my be trying to do their job. The overall experience was terrible. I'm surprised a place like this even manages to survive in OC. But look at the other reviews and you'll see what I'm on about. read more

All the doctors here are the best general care practitioners in the business. It was super easy finding the building and parking in their free parking lot. Once I found the office, I was cheerfully greeted by the receptionist and promptly helped. I was able to get all my vaccines. Ree and Melissa were so delightful and funny. Dr. Napoli is the best! She was able to refer me to the right specialist and really heard and understood my symptoms and what I was going through. A top quality facility for sure! read more

I have been coming for Dr. Bandukwala for years. I've been to a few different endocrinologists prior to him, and he's the best. Not only did he help get me the right thyroid doses, but he also was able to help me start hormone therapy for gender dysphoria! And he was able to request my insurance cover a medication that they normally would not cover. So the cost went from $300 to $0 a month. I also love that they do blood tests and ultrasounds in the same office! read more

Really good doctors and PAs - 5 stars for Jill Jones and Brian Chavez- amazing, caring and competent specialists. Zero or negative stars for scheduling and help desk- especially the ones who answer the phones. They are extremely rude, rushing and get ready to yell or say something to make them do their job decently. I've probably had 2 decent phone conversations out of 50 with their staff. Today was one of the worst. You are in health care- CARE. If you are uninterested in helping people especially the elderly, go into another industry. Dont bring down a good medical practice with a rude support staff! read more

If you have diabetes I would not recommend this large medical practice. I realized through my experience with them that this is the type of practice I want to avoid. Trying to call in, I always got an answering machine. Talking to someone in person was almost like leaving a message on the machine. I probably could have lived with all that but my doctor, Dr. Bandukwala was equally not involved. He would order a lab not related to diabetes and insurance wouldn't cover the cost. That happened twice with no apologies. I don't go there anymore. I now see a new endocrinologist and I don't have to wonder if they are doing things right.. read more

I had my first visit with Dr. Raymond Chang yesterday. I was very pleased with everything from his excellent staff, and his lovely office, but mostly his attention and care. He explained everything clearly and took the time to explain my choices. Dr. R. Chang explained my heart, BP conditions, and treatment plans. He was very thorough and personally called me the week after the appointment to see how I was adjusting to my new medication. This review will detail my experience with Dr. Raymond Chang over the last two decades; yikes and wow! First and foremost, I am honored to write that Dr. Raymond Chang is my Endocrinologist. My hospital visits were many during the onset of Sheehan's Syndrome, aka Hypopitutiary journey. I quickly learned that some endocrinologists did not take the time to hear my concerns. Fortunately, an on-call doctor walked into my hospital room, Dr. Chang. At the hospital, I asked Dr. Chang if he could consider being my Endocrinologist. I am grateful that I could be a new patient with Dr. Chang--my first visit with Dr. Chang was over an hour. He did not take my concerns lightly nor treat me like a patient going through a fast food line. These are some of Dr. Chang's highlights I have learned over the past two decades: Dr. Chang is a caring, brilliant medical expert. In addition to being an Endocrinologist, Dr. Chang is a Nephrologist. Dr. Raymond Chang has impressively navigated my healthcare with other medical specialists. Dr. Chang authored an MCAT study guide; impressive! Dr. Chang is open to suggestions and input. His four remarkable words- I do not know, give me relief and hope. My body may be ahead of science. Dr. Chang is a loving family man. Dr. Chang saved my mother's thyroid gland by quickly seeing her as a new patient and sending her to a surgeon for a second opinion. My mom's first surgeon wanted to remove her entire thyroid gland. Fortunately, the surgeon referred by Dr. Chang could remove half of her thyroid gland. With half a thyroid gland, my mom can produce sufficient thyroid hormones. As I have grown with Dr. Chang, so has his office. I began my medical visits with Dr. Chang in a shared medical office in Lake Forrest. Today, Dr. Raymond Chang has several locations, and his Laguna Hills location has numerous medical specialists. I have read some negative reviews about Dr. Chang's medical services, and most poor reviews miss the point that most concerns my health care: medical expertise. Dr. Chang hires highly regarded doctors, and Dr. Chang's medical knowledge is incredible! Due to Dr. Chang's wisdom, his offices have grown, and so has his front office. As in any business, the front office can be challenging to navigate. I would never penalize a doctor's rating due to the actions of his receptionist. My concern is quality care, and Dr. Chang delivers that to me. read more

The front office staff is terrible. They don't answer phones. I was on the hold for literally 30 mins and there was only 2 calls ahead of me. Terrible customer service. The doctors need to rehire more staff or get rid of the ones who don't know how to answer phones in a busy medical office. I wish I could give Dr. Pourbabak more than 5 stars. He has helped me to reduce my thyroid and glucose to a normal level after less than a year of treatments. Although his office was booked he accepted to see my husband regarding his high blood sugar and high cholesterol and after a short period of time, all have been reduced to a normal level as well.
