My wife and I are so thankful for everything the team at Ember fertility has done for us! We are both first time mothers and chose IVF due to potentially closed fallopian tubes. Going into this journey we were hoping to find a clinic that would support us being multicultural and a part of the LGBTQ+ community. From the beginning we felt very supported and uplifted by all of the staff at the clinic. Sherrie was our patient care coordinator and has been absolutely phenomenal to have on our team! She treated us like family and is always available to answer any of our questions or concerns and connect us with our doctor if necessary. Dr. Freije is amazing at what he does. He has always taken time to explain every part of the IVF process, and genetic testing so that we are making the best informed decisions for our family. He is very thorough and provided individualized care specific to me as the patient. It is very important to continuously be empowered to advocate for yourself and never be apprehensive to ask questions. We did have questions regarding the quality and quantity of eggs/embroys after our egg retrieval and unfortunately was never able to meet with the embryologist to address these concerns. Dr. Freije was very reassuring that the quality and quantity of embryos we created would allow us to have the complete family size we communicated we desired. NP Wei was a great point of contact and support throughout the process as well, making sure we were updated with care and medication instructions. Our phlebotomist Gen always got my blood draw on the first try and made it as pain-free as possible! I first contacted this center because I am starting my IVF journey but with an out of state clinic. I had to get a Saline done before I could start my IVF cycle. After asking my OB if I could do this procedure with them, she referred me to this clinic. When contacting the clinic, I spoke with Sherrie. She took great care of me on the phone, was patient and kind. She followed up with me to ensure I understood the information she provided. When entering the office, she was warm and welcoming. She took great care of me and my husband. She has the sweetest voice and the most gentle aura about her. When getting the procedure performed, I had a male doctor and a female nurse with a female nurse trainee. All 3 were warm, gentle and kind. The doctor kept me at ease with making jokes and clearly explaining what he was doing and seeing. When I felt the pain or when it was about to come, the nurse distracted me with small talk. It wasn't too bad, but definite discomfort from pressure. Then the AMAZING SHERRIE sent my paperwork to my clinic as well as informed me that it was done on her end. Overall my experience was amazing. I indeed would transfer to this clinic if IVF was in my price range here. The entire office makes me seriously want to reconsider going to them because of how smooth the entire process was from scheduling the appt to having it completed. I honestly get a little sad thinking about my entire 3 year journey and coming to the point of finally getting somewhere & not having come here to begin with. At the age of 40, when we started on this journey, I carefully did my research, yet found it hard to trust the published statistics. The IVF landscape lacks standardization, and not all clinics adhere to the same standards of medical or laboratory practices. Moreover, as we experienced with our initial clinic, some establishments are reluctant to deviate from approved protocols to help couples in achieving their fertility aspirations. We needed a clinic and reproductive endocrinologist (RE) who are willing to surpass standard protocols and collaborate with us to lay the optimal path to parenthood. He's optimistic but also realistic and will NOT implant an embryo inside if he doesn't think your body is ready. I think that's important because some doctors would just "see" and may waste your time. Other than that, Sherri was a sweetheart to greet and speak to everytime we entered the office. Very welcoming and communicative. She also would give us educational tools/papers to look at so that we were more informed. As the partner of someone who had a successful IVF procedure, I would highly recommend Ember Fertility clinic. The only thing I will say is to make sure you ask questions. A woman named Sherrie Bement who works here, whom I have never heard of or met in my life, texted me on my private number trying to convince me to sell my body to someone and carry someone's baby (literally my nightmare) in exchange for $80,000. I asked where she got my contact information multiple times and she refused to tell me. She would not explain why, would not respond once I made it clear I didn't need to risk my health and life for a paycheck. This company is either randomly reaching out to people they know nothing about (but I have to believe random cold calling would be a fairly epic waste of time), or they have somehow procured private medical information about possible surrogates who may qualify and refusing to share the source. The whole experience was chilling and dystopian. I plan to keep digging into this until someone can give me an answer as to where they are purchasing my private info. read more

This is my first time working with the clinic and Dr. Freije. I'm a surrogate mother, and I honestly thought the process would be more complicated and even stressful, but I was surprised at how easy they all made it for me. Dr. Freije is a great doctor, so respectful and professional. He's always attentive to the entire process and truly cares about his patients, making sure everything goes smoothly. Most surprisingly, he speaks perfect Spanish. This clinic is definitely a great option if you want to do any type of IVF. They make everything easy for you, and their staff is also incredible. It was one hell of a process, but one made easier by the very friendly staff at EFC. It took two rounds and exactly one year from our initial consultation to my son's birth, but the fantastic doctors, Dr. Freije came through for us. My only gripe is that at times it seemed like they were juggling too many patients, hahaha, but a little extra wait time is a small price to pay for my son. we always felt at ease, taken care of, listened to, fully informed, and supported 100%. Opting for the third-generation IVF in the United States is already quite mature and relatively confident, while egg freezing is due to concerns about declining quality with advancing age. The entire ovarian stimulation process was quick and simple, and the doctors and nurses were very responsible. The living environment here is also very comfortable. Now I am 9 weeks pregnant, grateful that the Ember team still cares about my condition and medication dosage.
