The flavor was spot on, tasted great and came with a complimentary waffle slice! There were two women working while I went in and they were very pleasant, helped us out and let us try as many flavors of gelato that we wanted. The shop itself is small and quaint, with lots of sweet options. What caught my eye were the salt water taffy in many odd flavors such as maple bacon. Unfortunately I didn't grab any, I am still regretting that but there is always next time because I will be back!

The Village Olive Grove is a gourmet extra virgin olive oil and vinegar shop that imports from all over the world. There we learned how to tell if extra virgin olive oil is authentic and how it's made. We also learned how to taste vinegar without the acidic flavour getting in the way. Just when you think you're a foodie, you learn something new! Love it! Last, but not least, we sampled Mapleton's Organic Ice Cream. It was flavoured with dandelion. It had a mild mocha flavour. Pretty good! We all looked worried when he said it was made with dandelion, but were all impressed. The owner is very knowledgeable and will allow you to sample any oil or vinegar in the store. The prices are higher than grocery stores, but you're here for the quality and you will definitely get it!

When our iced matcha beverages were handed off, he realized he didn't let us know they come Una's a default and there, he offered simple syrup or vanilla syrup of our choosing since we do prefer our matcha sweetened. After tasting, we told him two pumps wasn't sweet enough and he kindly added more syrup for us. I personally ordered the seasonal white chocolate matcha as a hot beverage which was tasty but a little too sweet - I would request for half sweet next time.
