I'm a do it yourself kind of a person but our basset hound is a pain to trim his nails but that is included with baths so that is what sold me on trying a mobile groomer. It makes it worth it to me to get nails trimmed and I hate brushing the dogs also. With that said I will use Baxter again. Only constructive criticism I would say is I'm disappointed I can't find Baxters website? I've found other groomers that you can book appointments online I like that hope Baxter would consider that. I know you can Book appointments on Facebook but not everyone uses Facebook. The thing I like about having a website you can see details of service and prices. I've got a few sensitive spots, and these two are always incredibly gentle with me. They know exactly where to avoid, take their time, and make the whole experience calm and pain-free. Cool, confident, and unfazed. And here's the real magic -- since it's mobile grooming, we never even feel like we leave the house. No stressful car rides, no strange places, no chaos. So, I was going to leave a fairly positive review. They came to my house, I liked the way my dogs…read morelooked when they came out, and the price was fair ($85 each). I immediately noticed one of my dogs fussing around his abdomen. He had a cut with a tiny flap off skin hanging off. I showed them before they left and they put some powder on it. It is now four days later and the wound is not healed. My dog is clearly in pain. I told them I was going to the vet and asked if they would at least refund me for just the one trim. They replied that they do not give refunds and to try some Neosporin. I informed them that the vet exam was $110 and that depending on the cost of any medication or further work, I would sue them in small claims. They are convenient, but they do not care much after they get paid. I would not recommend this business at all.
