She has a paralyzed tail so I wanted to make sure someone would be very careful with her. She just needed a wash as well as some hair balls cut so we went with the lions cut. She was nervous of course but as soon as he left she was running and playing so happy! She was not sad at all like I thought she would be! I understand busy times, however a response would be nice. It is polite customer service to respond to a customer's questions or concerns. If a time or day would not work for you, that is fine but have the courtesy to at least say so. I will gladly take my puppy's needs elsewhere. I will no longer be using Javier's services. Both of my pets came back just how I wanted but even better, they were very calm when they came back home and did not seemed scared at all. Javier made sure he knew what I wanted and what was important to me. I got my English Golden Retriever(Quinn) groomed on Monday, July 6. I wanted her shaved down shorter due to it being so hot and to cut down on shedding. A little less than an hour later, the groomer brought her back to my door, wet. She told me that my dog was whining and started to choke herself when she started shaving her neck so she didn't want to continue to blow dry her. She took $5 off my bill for that. I took Quinn to the backyard to dry off and as she did, the more I could see what an awful job the groomer did. Her whole body was covered in track marks. On top of that, her neck/chest was cut way short causing her to be constantly scratching herself. To try to make it feel better I took off her collar and the bandana that was put on. Doing that revealed a giant PINK stain on my white dog. (a red bandana and a wet white dog wasn't a very smart idea was it?)To make everything even worse, the groomer gave her razor burn on her butt. It eventually turned into a hot spot and a $100+ vet bill.I called the owner of Sweet Sues on Tuesday(6/7) and sent her the photos of Quinn. She said she would have a new groomer come out in a week (6/15) to fix her which I was okay with until Friday (6/10) when I had to take her to the vet. I just decided to cancel that appointment and although very very disappointed, I guess this was just a lesson learned. Sadly I don't remember the name of the woman that groomed my dog, but I believe it was the brunette on the left in the photo of the two women posted on here. I'm not happy. I chose this groomer because of the reviews. I thought one on one means being careful not to hurt my dog. The groomer was prompt. Very nice. She even said for a puppy that had only been groomed a handful of times that she's a good dog. However, she didn't give me an assessment of what she found after she gave my dog back. Those red lines on my dog are new. I didn't see them when she handed my dog back to me because she placed my dog's lease around her again after she was done (the wounds were covered with the lease on). My dogs lease never gave her those marks because they had thick cotton padding, she's had the lease since she was 8 weeks old and never had those types of wounds before. Those wounds are little broken lines forming one long thin line on both insides of her front legs. She also didn't do a good job on the nails because my dog squirmed back when she was handed to me and I felt her nails sharp across my neck. Two stars for promptness. My dog is in a corner sad. Man I've been missing out, just finally decided to try one of these mobile pet grooming and it rocks. My old groomer charged me 180 for all 3 of my pets, I had to lug them there early in the AM, then wait for a call within 4-6 hours to hurry back and pick them up. Javier charged me 195 and I didn't have to do shit. He came on time, had a fantastic personality, very friendly, you can tell he's a pet person. Will defiantly stick to mobile grooming from now on.
