We probably waited less than five minutes, which was awesome considering that they had a lot of other orders ringing up. It had chunks of mango, mango puree, cheesecake, and whipped cream. It was pretty enjoyable, but I think it would've been even better if I added in some mochi. The menu says it's layered with condensed milk, but the mango puree overpowered it a bit. It would be a nice touch if they could drizzle some condensed milk at the top, so that sweetness hits off the bat (at least in my opinion). Customer service was great, they were fast, respectful, and knew how to keep the line moving.

The matcha was very creamy and tasted high quality, which can be very difficult to find. The staff was very patient when me and my friend were taking quite a while to decide what we wanted to order, so I appreciate their cooperation. The store is very tiny, but it feels really cozy, perfect for meeting up with a friend or even hosting a study session. I'd definitely go back to try their different matcha flavours and pastries!

Despite it being end of day, it wasn't stale or hard to eat. Thw outside was still flaky and crispy, while the inside layers were still moist and soft. The cream inside was a burst of flavor. I had cut the croissants in half based on the outer chocolate dip location and thought the tiramisu one was lacking filling, only to discover it all hiding in one of the halves lol

I feel like they could either cook it to be more moist or store it better, and for sure don't add salt to something already salty. I visited yesterday evening at ~8:50PM after watching a movie as I was starving and tired and needed a little something for the commute home in north east Scarborough. Service was friendly and the staff was helpful with my questions. The store has booth - chair table seating so you could sit with just 2 people at a time at a table or join the tables for larger groups. Their bakery brand (Bake Code) features a variety of innovated desserts and baked breads. They have several different ongoing promotions, like if you buy 6+ buns, you pay no tax. If you buy 5 buns, you get one free. End of day sale for buns is 25% OFF. They have a VIP card for $20 that gives you 10% off buns on every visit for a year. The Taiwanese sausage bun was featured as the bun of the month. The promotions do not stack so you get the best available deal. In my case, it was the 25% off. 2 of the savoury croissants we had were just crispy dry. When I eat a croissant, I expect something moist and buttery. This was neither. I don't live in the area so I won't be back for the goods. Maybe the drinks.

You can also get 5 and get one FREE! I love a good deal / promotion. This was my first time trying the Pandan dessert and the two savory options. Everything was so good. The sweet buns were the freshest buns I've ever had. They were stretchy, light, airy and had the perfect amount of sweetness. Similar to a doughnut without any of the heaviness. There was a steady flow of customers and I chatted with a few. They all commented on fresh and delicious the food was here. There's a reason people keep coming back. I loved the atmosphere and warmth I felt in this family run business.

Otherwise, for the drive-thru, it's easier if you turn onto Signet Drive and hang a right to enter it. For at least a year, I have driven by this Starbucks on Steeles Avenue West heading home. I have flagged visiting it. I typically don't need to visit it because I have an iced tea from the Starbucks by my workplace. Today, I was heading in the same direction. I had just finished my tea in my tumbler. I needed more tea. It was perfect that I was a few blocks away from this Starbucks cafe. I pulled into the parking lot by turning right. I immediately saw the main entrance. There are parking spots around the building. I wanted to try the drive-thru. I had to go around and make a left to enter it. It's easier if you make a right turn onto Signet Drive and then hang another right to enter it. Since I had made an impromptu visit, I didn't have a chance to order through the app. I pulled up to the order area and got a friendly male voice on the other end. I ordered a grande iced unsweetened peach green tea. He asked whether I wanted water or lemonade in it. I said the former. He said to come on up to the window. It didn't take long for my drink to be made. He let me know what the total was. I had my Starbucks app out and he scanned my barcode to pay. Done! He handed me my drink and wished me a great day. I reciprocated and left. I liked that the barista put a smiley face on my cup. It made my day. My drink was yummy. It was exactly what I needed. I loved the juicy peach flavour and how cold it was as I continued driving home. I'm happy that I finally dropped by this Starbucks. I'll need to return and check out the cafe. (127)
