Scoops and Treats has opened in this location over 3 years ago a few doors down from my favorite Italian restaurant, Gusto Cucina Italiana. Tonight, after a scrumptious meal at Gusto, we walked in for some refreshing treats. Scoops and Treats sales more than just Ice Cream. It has fudges and roasted nuts. We sampled Rum Raisin, Butter Pecan, Rocky Road and Mocha ice cream on cones. The ice creams texture was not only smooth but the flavor is rich and creamy with a flavor that doesn't taste watered down or overly sweetened. The fudges were looking good but we focused on ice cream on this visit with just sugar cones instead of sprinkles or dipped cone. Life is too short to not to get a double scoop. Brought out of town friends to scoops for after dinner dessert, they were and so was I suitably impressed with the new improved Scoops and Treats! Wonderful flavors, a very nice Variety, Assorted Fudge and cookies and some prepared offerings in the clean and well lighted freezer. The young lady behind the counter was very friendly and pleasant. Very very extremely over priced! We walked here and just wanted one scoop of icecream for me and one for my husband. We each got a single small scoop and it was about $15! Since when should a single scoop be $7each?? We wanted a milkshake but those were $15+! I get that it's a ma and pop shop but the price is not sustainable and it has basic flavors all the other shops carry. Great atmosphere but very pricey! read more

We found this location after a night of driving around looking for things to do as we wound down our trip and I must say it did not disappoint. From the second we walked in the door we were welcomed and the staff was kind and welcoming. The kids enjoyed the great selection on flavors and the nostalgic feel was a welcome site. We frequent the area multiple times a year and have found our new go to spot when in the area. Defintely returning next time we are down. read more

From the moment we walked in they welcomed us and offered samples of fudge and ice cream. The owner is very friendly and great to have a conversation with. The employee was very helpful and friendly . I highly recommend this locally owned business and will be back many more times. Found our go to spot to bring guest from out of town! read more

They also have banana splits, sundaes, fudge etc. Unique to this shop is that they carry soft serve ice cream in vanilla and chocolate flavors. Staff and owner were pleasant & friendly. There owner is extremely rude! I had an order placed through a delivery service, the address was incorrectly typed into the delivery system. Replacement order was ordered only for staff & the rude owner stating they weren't going to fulfill this order as ," I'm not going to waste time & products on others stupidity." They got paid for the reorder just as if it was a new order but owner REFUSED! Btw, I was put on the phone via FaceTime with the owner who wasn't even in her store! Great customer service right? I'd give them a negative star if I could!! read more

History

Established in 2019.

Scoops and Treats LLC was founded in June 2019 by Ron Barker and his granddaughter Alyssa Williams, After They founded Soft Serve Treats LLC in April 2011. When they purchased the Ice Cream Truck from a previous vendor from Lake City, Minnesota. Intentions were to return a little nostalgia to the residents of the Edisto Island and Edisto Beach, SC area. Which we feature"Frostline" Soft Serve ice cream that is non-dairy, lactose and cholesterol free, Popsicle brand frozen novelties, Juice Bars, Root Beer Floats made with A&W Root Beer and more. After a few years of fun there, They relocated and decided they wanted to open an Ice cream and fudge parlor to serve he residents of Cape Coral. We serve only the highest quality products. Jude had a turkey (so-so) sandwich and I had veal Marsala. It was in a rich dark gravy (too sweet) that whispered Marsala while i was hoping it would be savory and earthy. When reducing the dry Marsala wine the flavor is enhanced. This wasn't. The button mushrooms were saute'd but not enough of them. From the time of placing our order with Dawn (our server) & her delivering it piping hot- it was about 6-7 minutes. Record time in my experience. The spaghetti was already infused with the gravy. I like my spaghetti with butter not gravy. Missing were the shallots and parsley. Dawn was attentive and delivered recommendations and good service. Thanks.

We heard about this amazing Ice Cream shop so close to home we had to try it. They have many wonderful flavors as well as home made fudge. The owners daughter makes the fudge herself and it delicious. This is now my go to ice cream shop when I'm in the mood for a cool treat, and I know I'll have to stock up on the fudge. read more

On holiday for a week and found this gem. Staff were lovely. You can have tasters. There's a HUGE selection. I had my fave - rum and raisin with a kalhua fudge and my husband had the mint and they were delicious. There's tables to sit inside too. read more
