Scoops and Treats has opened in this location over 3 years ago a few doors down from my favorite Italian restaurant, Gusto Cucina Italiana. Tonight, after a scrumptious meal at Gusto, we walked in for some refreshing treats. Scoops and Treats sales more than just Ice Cream. It has fudges and roasted nuts. We sampled Rum Raisin, Butter Pecan, Rocky Road and Mocha ice cream on cones. The ice creams texture was not only smooth but the flavor is rich and creamy with a flavor that doesn't taste watered down or overly sweetened. The fudges were looking good but we focused on ice cream on this visit with just sugar cones instead of sprinkles or dipped cone. Life is too short to not to get a double scoop. Very very extremely over priced! We walked here and just wanted one scoop of icecream for me and one for my husband. We each got a single small scoop and it was about $15! Since when should a single scoop be $7each?? We wanted a milkshake but those were $15+! I get that it's a ma and pop shop but the price is not sustainable and it has basic flavors all the other shops carry. Great atmosphere but very pricey! read more

We found this location after a night of driving around looking for things to do as we wound down our trip and I must say it did not disappoint. From the second we walked in the door we were welcomed and the staff was kind and welcoming. The kids enjoyed the great selection on flavors and the nostalgic feel was a welcome site. There owner is extremely rude! I had an order placed through a delivery service, the address was incorrectly typed into the delivery system. Replacement order was ordered only for staff & the rude owner stating they weren't going to fulfill this order as ," I'm not going to waste time & products on others stupidity."
