The staff here is the sweetest! There are so many flavors and it's hard to choose! I generally get oatmeal cream pie but when I saw taro and the brain food (espresso ice cream with almonds and dark chocolate) I had to get all 3! I got pistachio for my daughter and afterschool treat (?) which was like a peanut butter and jelly flavor for my son. All of us enjoyed our ice cream. Scoops are decently priced. There's also a little kids corner with a table and tv that is nice and thoughtful. The store was clean as well. Love, love, love it here. Cute little ice cream parlor with hand dipped ice cream. There are always so many flavors to choose from. They have a lot of mainstay flavors as well as seasonal rotations. My favorite is the oatmeal cookie on a waffle cone. Along with ice cream they can also make milkshakes, floats, sundaes and other treats. I love that they have a step stool and mini bench for little ones to enjoy the experience as well. The staff are always great and make the experience welcoming for everyone. We decided to stop in today after spending a few hot hours at the farm for a nice cold treat. When we walked in we were immediately welcomed and offered samples. I first noticed how clean and welcoming the lobby was. Along the backside of the dining area there's a kids picnic table and a tv that had Madagascar playing for the kiddos. The gentleman working was very friendly and had incredible customer service. They had a wide variety of flavors, shakes, and shaved ice. We each chose a kids cone. My daughter chose playdoh, a sweet cream flavor and I chose the Taro. After ordering our ice cream he told us about their punch card for future visits and let us know he was available if we needed anything. Our ice cream was delicious and creamy, exactly what we needed for a nice cool down and afternoon treat. Visited them on a Saturday and they were busy! And I can see why, this local spot has some great flavors. My favorite was the Oatmeal Cookie! Very dreamy, and simply perfect. Pumpkin Pie was a close second, with a great amount of pumpkin, not just spices - loved it. Laveen Concrete was next best and this was a caramel one. The one after was Brain Food which is espresso and chocolate, still very good but just not the best. I always want all the flavors. And staff was so nice. They were able to split my scoops into smaller ones so I could try 4 flavors. So accomodating, mind you not all shops do this. Great customer service, and they provided the complimentary waffle cone when I showed them the Yelp check in for a free one. read more

i went to this shop in july of 2019, so forgive me in advance if my memory is a bit jumbled! i'd recently moved to arizona with my family, and at that time we were currently in the midst of experiencing the state's hellish summer heat (an aspect i'm still trying to adjust to almost five years later). we figured that it would be sensible to grab a scoop of ice cream to alleviate our sorrows, and we managed to stumble upon scooptacular. there was a decent amount of customers inside of the shop, although it wasn't too crowded. there was a generous range of ice cream flavors, but in my case, the ice cream was the last thing on my mind. i spied with my little eye options for boba tea! i had a hankering for boba since a few months prior to our move, and this was the perfect opportunity. i politely ordered taro boba, and the friendly man working the counter got my order right away as well as the rest of my family's orders. after paying for our food, we went to our car and ate our ice cream (or in my case, i drank the boba). the boba was ice cold, although this isn't much of a complaint since the day's temperature was in the triple digits. please visit this place! read more

Every time I go to Phoenix, I now have the urge to get butter pecan ice cream. All of their ice cream is made in house w natural ingredients, making it that much more enjoyable to eat. They have a variety of cool flavors that I need to try out, but am currently obsessed with their butter pecan so I'm going to primarily speak to that. Each spoonful of the butter pecan is smooth and silky! The ice cream in and of itself is delicious, but the toasted pecans adds texture and a salty contrast. They were kind of running out of a lot of ice cream's, but I decided to give their butter pecan and Cookie Monster a try. I have to say they were not that bad. I don't think I usually get butter pecan so I enjoyed it. The staff was friendly the place looked clean I mean I honestly don't have very much negative to say other than not having many options for ice cream. I've been bringing my family to Scooptacular for over 3 years now. I usually tie a visit here to a sporting win, good grades or some type of celebratory event with the kids. Truth is I'd come up with anything to come and have a scoop of this delicious ice cream. I'm a creature of routine and usually get the same thing which is the Laveen Concrete but every now and then I venture out and try something new. How have I never left a review?! We come here once a week and sometimes twice a week That's how much my family loves this place! First of all their customer service is AMAZING! They're always friendly and in a cheerful mood. They're also quick but accurate! I told them my order for a sundae and she was able to remember it all and it was correct! Now we really love that they have kid scoops. It's perfect for the littles in your life. Not too much or too little. My daughters favorite is Play-dough! My son loves their shaved ice, and they have many flavors for that. I personally love their sundaes. I've tried pretty much all of their flavors and there isn't one I didn't like. Personally anything chocolate I love! My husband really enjoys their waffle cones and he likes to get one scoop but divided in half so he can get two flavors in a small amount of ice cream. Besides ice cream and shaved ice, they also have cake pops and cakes and more! Haven't tried those yet but we plan to in the near future!
