The staff was a set of mostly young people and I am surprised to say their customer service was great. They offered samples, answered questions, and were overall helpful. The drinks were well made. The only thing was my drink was overflowing from my cup and that could have been fixed prior to serving my drink but when I asked for an extra cup, they gave me one. And there were several dirty tables that needed to be cleaned. I like that they have games like uno, dominoes, and jenga. A nice distraction for the kiddos while we waited. We drive from Surprise to grab Bahama Bucks! It's such a great spot to get a snow cone and ice cream or you can put it together and enjoy the creamy-iceness that bucks offers. My favorite is Jamaican rum punch and watermelon. So so good! The service is ok. I will say they are patient as it takes some time going through the flavors and wrapping your head around snow ice and ice cream together with cream on top.. and that cute umbrella.. stop it! we used to drive all the way Mesa just to get shaved ice. Luckily this location opened. It's still a long drive but closer than Mesa. They have so many flavors from sweet to sour or spicy but for me, Bahama Rama mama is the way to go. My all time favorite: piña colada bahama Rama mama. A treat like no other and it doesn't help that my kids are quite the instigators so we often find ourselves here late at night. We usually hang out and play the ring toss game they have outside while we finish our treats. The young lady working on 3/5/20 near closing time was very nice. She was very helpful in suggesting flavors. We had a full punch card so we got a free shaved ice. My son ordered a 32 oz and she suggested he upgrade to a 44 oz since it was free. My husband has been a Bahama Bucks fanatic for years! Previously, he would drive all the way to the other Tempe location, but now we have one just a mile from home. He is so thrilled! A few things to note about this location as it is different than others than I've been to, and I've been to multiple ones in multiple states. I told you my husband is a shaved ice fanatic. First, the other locations are closed on Sunday but this is OPEN! It is open seven days a week. Secondly, this location sells soda and charges for bottles of water. Other locations serve strictly shaved ice and ice cream and the bottled water is free. Those things aside, the ice here is made with some kind of magic and is so fluffy. I can never explain it to you fully but I'll try. The ice blocks are super clear before they shave them which I think is the secret, ultra filtered water. There is absolutely no crunch of ice here, this is fluffy like a cloud. Other shaved ice I have had is always crunchy. I've never been able to locate a suitable alternative for the great treats from Bahama Bucks! They have about a million flavors. I'd recommend looking at the menu before you go so you have time to think about your flavors. The reason the wait in the drive through and inside sucks is because people are generally idiots and like to stand around and aimlessly read the menu. Doing your research will pay off. They are always willing to make you any flavor combination that you want. Just stop expecting each employee to craft you a custom mixture tailored to your favorite flavors because it's holding up the line! read more

The line was ridiculous but it is 111 degrees outside. They are conveniently located in the shopping plaza. Cute building. I definitely could have done without the staff in their short shorts (but once again it is 111 degrees and it's not corporate America) the line moves pretty fast and the drinks are amazing. I ordered a frozen lemonade limeade. I tried the bomb pop which was definitely a kids wish. It came with the actual popsicle (perfect for splitting it between my two nephews!) the tray is super cute but not functionally smart. I have tried a few different ones, the banana is my favorite! They will even give you plain shaved ice in a small cup if you request for your dogs! But the staff are efficient and do their best. I normally go inside to order and sit while waiting for my order to be ready eh oh can take some time as they do have a drive thru to prioritize. The drive thru always has a long line in the evenings which is expected. I've been through it once so far too we did wait for quite some time as the line wrapped around the parking lot near by. Once I ordered everything was ready by the time I got to the window. I did request plain shaved ice for my pup I had with me and it was given to me at no cost which was nice. The guy finally goes "ready to order?" then informs me my order is not ready yet.
