Fruit flies everywhere inside. And sometimes kind of dirty. Staff and drink quality is always good.

Went for Sunday brunch and had a great experience. The service was excellent. All the servers are…read morerays of sunshine. The coffee was hot, the vibes were good, and the food was tasty. Portions are generous enough that you're basically getting two meals out of it. There are plenty of places to get brunch in the metro, but Early Bird is consistently good. You know what you're getting, and they deliver every time. You'll leave happy, full, and ready to conquer your day. Though let's be honest...after eating a pancake the size of a baby...you will not be accomplishing anything athletic for the next four hours, but spiritually you're thriving.

We got there around 8:30 and there was…read moreno wait, but from experience if you go later (after 10am) there's typically a little wait time to be seated. The server was quick with drink orders and menus. We got coffee for the table with a side of cream for me. The coffee tasted fresh and hot. I ordered from their seasonal menu and decided to try the maple bacon bird tart. So worth the extra calories! The filling was very rich and sweet so I was happy with one piece, but it was totally delicious. I especially loved the bacon crumbled on top. For my main dish I had the carnivore hash, also from the seasonal menu. This came out as a huge serving so I ended up taking 70% home. I got the sourdough toast and it was buttery, crispy, and perfectly complemented the hearty hash. Overall a great start to the morning. I love all the natural light in this location and it's conveniently located near lots of shops for errands after brunch. I would totally recommend this place for really solid breakfast and some unique menu items as well!

If you can only make it to one breakfast restaurant in Omaha, let it be this one! The food was…read moreincredibly fresh, high quality, and delicious. My husband is a much harsher critic than I am, and he gave it a "rare 5.5 out of 5." The pancakes were some of the fluffiest I've ever had. They also have a great selection of coffee flavors to choose from, which was a fun bonus. The coffee paired perfectly with breakfast, though I probably wouldn't come here just for the coffee alone. The flavor was good but it did have a slight burnt taste. A quick note: you order at the counter before sitting down. It's a mix of self-serve and sit-down service. You order at the counter, grab your own silverware, and seat yourself, but they bring your food and drinks out to you (other than water). I do wish they were a bit more attentive about clearing finished plates during the meal. The restaurant was so busy that the line was out the door when we arrived, but it moved surprisingly fast. I was worried we wouldn't find a table, yet there were plenty of open seats available. The atmosphere is also really nice and cozy, making it a great spot to start your day.

We were surprised we ordered before sitting but I found that really nice actually. The woman working the front register seemed to be having a day, but as soon as my social butterfly of a child started being silly, the woman became a lot more friendly. After we ordered, we got a handheld order indicator and placed it on our chosen table. I got the churro French toast, my husband the breakfast sandwich with crispy potato's on the side, and then we ordered a side of bacon. French toast was fun. Crispy and crunchy, good with and without syrup. It had 3 triangles and it was easily shareable, but I understand if you don't want to haha. The breakfast sandwich was dense. We were surprised at how heavy it actually was. My husband said he liked the sage taste throughout the sausage, and he liked the aioli they had on it as well. The crispy potatos were different. Not bad, but lots of fried skin instead of actual potato. Bacon was good minus one obviously burnt piece that we asked the bar attendant if there was a way to fix it. She went to drop off someone's drink and came back with one properly cooked piece. She was wonderful. Overall, we'd come back, and we'd bring our friends

We had gone to "Good Lookin, and there was a line out the door. My wife had notice this place when we drove by on the way there. Decided to give it a try. Like I said got there at noon and wanted brunch. I ordered English Black Breakfast Tea said to be "Premium Loose Leaf Tea", Wife ordered a latte, both $6 each. For a cup of tea and a latte that appeared to come out of a Kureg machine. I could tell because the tea came premade. Not hot water and a teabag, a half filled mug, no spoon, tasted bitter like it was run through a Kureg after a cup of coffee without rinsing the machine out. There is a sign in the dining room, "From our kitchen Homemade to your Table". Which was funny because I don't consider Cysco Homemade. The hashbrowns tasted like dehydrated boxed hashbrowns that were rehydrated and put on a flat top. They were overcooked, hard crunchy, not in a good way. I had the Chicken fried steak, gravy, and scrambled eggs. It had no seasoning to speak of. I asked for a biscuit and a cup of gravy added. The biscuit appeared to be a food service biscuit, not made there. Okay, but. I had an orange juice. Tasted like it was out of a bottle. My wife had the Acapulco Bene, the poached eggs were good, the Chirizo sausage looked like the patties out of an MRE, not fresh, or anything special, the english muffin it was all on was out of a bag. Again nothing special. She also had an order of pancakes. Again, nothing special, they were fluffy, and large, but just okay. The ticket was $71 for two, with some extras, $85 with tip. If you like food that is nothing super special for a moderately overpriced tab, go here. There many other good breakfast places in town. Not recommended, but I left with a full tummy, and i did not die. So win, but not won't be going back.
