I have to say the staff here is very nice, polite, and friendly. I have been coming here for a while, and I always order something to eat. No matter what I order to eat, there is always a part of the food that is still cold. I am not exaggerating. The coffee is ok at best. With the food having that cold spot, it makes me think twice about going back. If I visit again, I will specifically ask to add an additional 30 seconds on the timer. read more

The Pot 'O Gold latte was delicious. The barista told me it had a buttery and Carmel kind of taste. That was a great description. (Side note: it is a seasonal drink) It was $6.24 for a large (I chose not to add an extra shot bc it was already an expensive drink) The price isn't bad compared to Starbucks but I probably wouldn't come here all the time due to it being a little expensive. read more

I came from Geosource down the road when I needed a coffee. So I checked Google and this place was just here. It was empty when I got there and didn't have to wait. Since I only know that they are empty in the afternoon, I can't give you an idea of how it is in the morning. But from what I saw the girl was friendly and made me my coffee. It is quite good. The place itself is clean and they have plenty of tables to sit at. Parking is also plenty so there is nothing I would have to take a star off for. This is a solid five star coffee shop. read more

Great yummy tasty coffee and smoothies! They had food too but we just tried the cake pops which were delicious! The group I was with had a Mango Smoothie, Wild Berry Smoothie, Blended Turtle Mocha, Hot Turtle Mocha Coffee, and a cake pop. Very smooth smoothies and all tasty! Been by Scooter's a few times now. I can just say - I'm grateful I waited to visit a few more times before reviewing. The first time I was less than impressed. I should say, going in the door, I'm a coffee snob who prefers a good "mom and pop" coffee shop. Having never heard of "Scooters", I thought it was a small, independent shop. It's not. I later found out Scooter's is a chain. It definitely has that "chain restaurant" feel for sure - I can pretty much guarantee (without seeing others) they probably all look the same inside and out. Kinda like "Five Guys". During my first visit, I asked some questions about their coffee beans, roasters, etc. I may as well have been talking thermodynamics, because the employee had no clue...didn't know where the beans came from...knew nothing about the roasts, etc. He did not instill much confidence. When I asked about the kolaches and other baked goods, he didn't know where they came from, but could tell me they didn't make them in house. Ohhhkayyy..... I like their confidence, though. Apparently, they claim to make a latte taste like ANY candy bar you want. I opted for snickers. Found the drink way too milky (not sure there was any actual coffee in it), too low on foam and whether it tasted like Snickers - dunno. My other visits, including today, generally the same. Drinks were okay; not overly impressive. Today, I had a sausage, jalapeno, and cheese kolache, and a "heath bar" latte. Latte was the same: too milky, not enough foam and way too sweet. Again, not really sure there was any espresso in it. There also seemed to be some tension amongst the staff... I'll be back by Scooters - not writing them off - I drive that way too often. read more

Great coffee! Better than Starbucks (in my opinion) and cheaper too. I wish there were more of these scattered throughout the San Antonio area. The only time I'm able to go is if I'm in Fair Oaks Ranch/Spring Branch. I have only had iced coffee here. Most recently, I got an Iced Carmelicious with almond milk. Great flavor and blended well! I got a medium which was larger than a starbucks Grande for $5.50. Will be back when I am in the area. Would still like to try a hot coffee here. Maybe next time. 4 stars due to slow service and wrong order. Ordered "iced"'and not "blended." But oh well, it was still good. read more

The past few months this store has gone downhill with making orders and customer service. The original employees that are left are the only thing saving this store. Such a very VERY random backwoods location for a Scooters but I'm diggin' it. We've passed by here once or twice on our way to Guadalupe River State Park and this time (since I frequent the one on Blanco Rd in SA) we decided to stop on thru. Just like my usual location, they offered my doggie a little biscuit treat. Super cute. But what about the coffee?? It's good! Tasty, and fresh. I always get my usual iced latte, but here I get it with added white mocha syrup. So good. Large please! Service is attentive, prompt, and super friendly. Prices are on-par with (and in some instances, cheaper) the infamous coffee mega chain competitor so whenever possible it's nice to give other coffee shops business as well. I'm so looking forward to the summer so I can come to this location again on our way to the State Park! read more

Living in the San Antonio area, I don't get to visit Scooters as often as I'd like. Typically I need to find myself in Boerne for one reason or another so I can justify a detour to this lovely coffee shop. I always buy up as many bags of whole bean coffee as I can. Scooters Blend & Scooter Doodle are my absolute favorite but all their beans are enjoyable so I'm never disappointed regardless of the selection available. Unfortunately, on my most recent visit this past Friday, they only had ground coffee options and I was extremely disappointed. Instead, my boyfriend and I decided to grab drinks from the specialty/handcrafted drinks available. We spoke with Ivy, the barista, and she answered all of our questions on different menu items with a smile. She helped my boyfriend settle on an iced turtle latte which was simply delicious. The tastes of mocha, caramel, and espresso all shone through in their own way with none overpowering the other. He gulped this down in minutes. She then helped me decide on what turns out to be her favorite as well (hello peanut butter fanatics) and I had a peanut butter power blender. Oh my goodness this was truly a treat. Anything with peanut butter is an easy sell on me but this blender creation was put together just right to where I hated myself for not ordering a larger size. The highlight of our visit was the service provided to us by Ivy. She was a true delight and a prime example of what good customer service should look like. This is the lonely Scooter's left in San Antonio and technically it's not even in San Antonio, it's in Bergheim, TX which is a little city outside of Fair Oaks Ranch. The only downside is it is kind of a drive to get there and it's mostly on a one-way road that trucks and slow drivers like to take, yet I digress. Scooter's is amazing! Props to Nick who seems to live there and always provides awesome customer service every time I visit. Drink-wise, I usually like to get a Pina Colada smoothie -- my own little piece of paradise -- and this remains the lonely place where you can get one of those too (non-alcoholic) since Diary Queen stopped carrying them. Make sure to download the Scooter's Coffee app as it has a rewards program integrated into it. You can also use it to pay (the way it's setup you have to use the app to get points, it's not like a lot of restaurants where you can scan an "earn rewards only" barcode). They give you a free drink on your birthday (thank you for that btw). And price-wise, it's a little cheaper than Starbucks, definitely cheaper than Smoothie King, so they may be onto something. Now if only we can get one to open up in San Antonio (I-10 corridor would be nice, you've got Starbucks, Dunkin and Smoothie King all around the Rim area -- a little friendly competition and more options never hurt anyone, just saying). 7 apartments and 7 hotels in the immediate area -- hey, I'm campaigning here! read more

This shop is near my home so I decided to try it. I'm new to Boerne. The counter gal was upbeat and friendly but I felt the drink that I got was way overpriced. I paid almost $7 for a large. I asked for a mostly creamy, slightly sweet iced coffee. Seemed to be pretty simple and straightforward so I was a little shocked by the price. The drink was fine but expensive. Prior to this location opening, I have never heard of Scooter's. My brother who lives near Dallas talks about them very highly, and was excited about one opening near Boerne. It's very good coffee. I have really only ever been to Starbucks, so I had no idea what to expect. The have all your normal coffees, lattes, teas, blended drinks, smoothes, and pastry items. I have been getting their Turtle Bar latte and it is so good. I love that not only is it a sit in coffee shop, but also has a drive-thru also. It has recently been very busy inside, so I have tried their drive-thru and they seem as quick as a Starbucks drive-thru is. I also met the one of the owners during their opening week and she was very nice and really seemed to care that their franchise started off well. Well I think they hit the mark and will come by more often than Starbucks, not just because they do have good coffee, but also because it is just so convenient for me. read more

I drive by this place at least three days a week and never knew it was there. Today I stopped by for a coffee and a sandwich. The iced coffee (Caramelicious) was really good and the maple waffle sandwich was off the chain. And they give a military discount. A hidden gem of Bergheim, Tx. Scooter's coffee always gives me the sensation of wonder and amazement when I used to go to Starbucks as a child. Though a franchise, Scooter's does their best to tailor their drinks to you and offer up great advice for any drink you may be unsure about. Specifically for this location I have never had any issues and enjoyed my drive to Bergheim for a delicious treat. I only wish that scooters would come to Boerne, TX because their business would definitely give other local coffee shops competition. read more
