Dutch Bros - UTSA Blvd 1/29/26. -/- This is such a treat after a long work day to have this location on the way home. They are always happy to take my orders and keep a friendly staff. We've tried their iced and hot coffee, cocoa, and more recently food. The sliders are savory and just he right size after work/ before dinner snack. I'm so glad they added these to the menu. About the Bees.... They are also loving this location and have been hovering all around the drive-thru window day and night. The employees keep a cheerful attitude and work around them. They are patient when we have to put our windows up between drinks to avoid bringing one home. It must 'Bee' tough for them but I've never notice grumpiness on their part. I'm glad they have figured out a way to keep themselves and the Bees safe and still take our orders/make the items, and deliver quickly even when there is a long line. We've been coming to this Dutch bros for awhile. But we've had the most unpleasant experience coming here this evening (1/31). I've been to many Dutch bros all across the country and even had friends that worked for the company. Dutch Bros is known for their customer service and also positive interactions with customers and always find ways to try to make sure to they provide the best customer service. However, we did not get this service that Dutch is known for from these two girls that worked tonight (1/31). When we arrived, there were no cars in the drive thru and thought this would have been a fast and positive order. I was hoping to try some of the new releases but when we pulled up to the window, we were greeted with a rude interaction starting off with "What do you want?" When we asked about their new items they said "we don't have it" and we only have an hour to close but there was more than hour till the posted close time. I was fine that they didn't have it and can order something else, but what put a bad taste in mouth was that this broista wasn't even apologetic that they didn't have it or can't sell it that evening. When we were asked to pick different item, we felt really rushed and I almost considered not buying anything from them. After the broista took our order, I caught the broista rolling her eyes and taking their sweet time making the drinks and didn't even give us any interaction about asking "how our day was? What brings us in? Or if we had any plans?" or even letting us know that it's either just the two them closing so it would be one person making the drinks. We just felt like we came in as an inconvenience to their social time and there was barely anyone in line. When we got our drinks they didn't tell us which drink is which. I understand working weekends and late nights can be hard, but there also Dutch bros that are open 24 hrs and usually it's always a positive experience. It makes me sad that there people who do treat customers like this, especially knowing that this is a company known for their customer service. This review may not mean much, but I think there needs to be some sort of accountability based on the company's values. read more

After my husband and I did some errands we decided we need a little pick-me-up. We have been wanting to try Dutch Bros Coffee since we have heard good things about it from friends and family. We drove up and the place was packed. To me that shows that they must be selling a product that people would wait for. When the staff came to my car to take our order they were super pleasant. I really liked how everyone carried themselves. My husband and I both got the nitro cold brew. We asked for two Splendas. I should have asked for a little bit of creamer and it would have made my drink perfect. Either way I did enjoy it. That caffeine boost was just what we needed to energize us to continue the day. This place is small but packs a huge punch. Starbucks is right around the corner and I do see this place giving them a run for their money. If I had the choice to come again I definitely would. I go to both this location and the one on Babcock around the corner. This one is consistently very busy and you will most likely always have to wait 20-30 minutes if there's more than 3 people ahead of you. As with the other location, staff has no sense of urgency when making drinks - OR they are understaffed. Either way, I always have to wait FOREVER for my coffee and if I have things to do it's just not practical. They also have where you can pull in to one of two lanes and when the line is super backed up and someone pull in the shorter side, often they get their order taken first and that always frustrates me. There have been times when I pull in and have already been waiting 10 minutes just to order and someone pulls on the shorter side and gets to order prior. I get there's two lines, but have a system.... Really hope this and the other location near me can work on their production times. 30 minutes for one coffee is just...unacceptable. read more

Vibin' is how to best describe Dutch Bros! They are so happy to accommodate, and I had no idea that they could serve drinks hot or warm! This makes me happy so I can avoid burning my tongue. I also love that I can request sugar-free versions of my favorite drinks without someone going, "Huh?" Despite recently opening, the line was pretty quick. It's not a location you'd see from a super busy street or highway, so you almost need to know that this location is there. Maybe a new sign on the highway for travelers would help. read more

On our way to Mediterranean food and had to get our coffee fix. They might be very employees as they didn't seem to know the menu for the order takers. My husband got a mocha and I got a latte both hot. They came out in the same size so I'm assuming they only serve one size as my husband requested a large. That said, the heat was lukewarm, perfect for him but I like my hot to be hot! The coffee however was smooth and tasty. While I know morning rush hour for coffee during the week can be crazy. This location has opportunities to be more efficient. It seems that training was occurring for new hires and caused the additional wait in the drive thru. A 20 min wait in line is not Practical for the people in corporate America. I feel it's a hit or miss regarding the coffee. Sometimes it's absolutely incredible, but it's not as consistent as I'd hope.
