Scootique is clearly what all businesses should aspire to be. Not intending to buy anything, just looking, we started researching scooters in mid 2011. We found Scootique almost by accident on a google search for shops around us in San Antonio. We called a time or two just as research and then were distracted by "life". Fast forward to Aug of 2012. The bug to buy bit us hard and we reached back out to Scootique. The invitation to come and visit fit in with our plans so we rode up to Fredericksburg, TX and stopped by Scootique. Billy and Jennie (father daughter partners) were both in the shop and rather than a "Hi, can I help you", it was a "Are you Lisa and Steve?" It was at that point that I knew we would be doing business, but hadn't realized we'd end up closer to friends and family, not just another customer. BTW: I read a review from a C C. The review he wrote was from a visit when the owners had taken a day off for a family event (I found out is was the first day off in 4 years) and left the store with a "volunteer". If you're reading this C C., you missed out BIG TIME. You should have given the owners a call to explain your dissatisfaction, rather than posting a virtually anonymous "gripe". In my 50+ years on this planet I can list on one hand the number of times I made a purchase and was treated as well as I was at Scootique. If they sold groceries I'd drive to Fred'burg for my milk (90+ miles round trip). They are that good. Jennie was awesome! Constant communication as to delivery of the scooter we bought, when the helmets they ordered would arrive, etc. BTW: Everything we bought was "custom" to us. We wanted specific colors and style of helmets, a cover tarp, etc. They have loads of scooters, helmets, accessories and the like, we just had specific wants. After we got all the paperwork done, Jennie took pictures of us on our new scooter for their FB and webpage. Little fun things like that are not going to happen at The Motorcycle Warehouse (made up name). We were also invited to come up and join in a parade in Fred'burg, which I took to really be "Don't be a stranger. Come back and visit". If you're thinking of a scooter or motorcycle, you should consider the drive to Fred'burg to visit with Jennie and Billy. Just call them and see. Great people! read more

Wife and i started looking for an used scoot for her. Came across one of their ads and inquired about the scooter and was promptly answered back with sad news that the specific model had been sold.(thatnhappens when you think good offers will last for ever) but was informed they had another similar scooter for sale. Asked for price info and pics and same day had all the info. Mentioned to the lady responding my emails i might show up the next Monday and at the last minute decided to drive from San Antonio to Fredericksburg. Very nice shop clean organized good selection of scooters and motorcycles for display. Jennie who was the nice lady to help us out and who came back after she was informed we showed up without confirmed appointment ( you dont need one to come by lol) was extremely nice . After showing us and explaining all details on the buddy we liked and answering all questions we had And a proper test drive agreed on purchasing terms and sealed the deal. We are very glad we read all reviews and not only the bad experience from that unlucky couple. Jennie and her dad are super nice, educated and polite as well as the nice guys that work at the shop had an excellent experience with them. they talked very good about other shops (motorcycle shop also great people and great shop) we bought from scootique since at this moment they happened to have the exact model and color my wife wanted. Scootique was the proverbial stitch in time for me. Just last weekend (20 Oct 12) some buds and I were attending the Harvest Classic motorcycle rally in Luckenbach, 11 miles away. We were camped out at the rally and had ridden up to Fredericksburg for supper on Friday night. My buddy who had been riding behind me told me my running light (tail light) was out, although the brake light was working fine. Next morning rode back into Fredericksburg to Scootique and was greeted immediately on walking in the door. The guy who waited on me, Larry, was as friendly and helpful as any person I've ever encountered in any retail store, in any business. Twenty minutes and a $3 bulb later, I was scootin' back to Luckenbach and the rally. Having no tail light on a motorcycle is just asking law enforcement to give you a ticket, but I dodged it this time thanks to Scootique. Thanks, Larry! read more

Billy Burdett and his daughter Jennifer are two genuine people who have the best interests of their customers in mind. Billy is a talented and creative professional bike restorer who takes great pride in his work and goes out of his way to meet the customer's needs. I have been working with him for several months now to restore my 1968 Triumph Bonneville motorcycle, and the time I spend driving from San Antonio has been well worth it. His knowledge and experience has kept me out of many traps that would have killed my project. His daughter, Jennifer, and the rest of the staff greet me like an old friend when I walk in and always make me feel welcome. I have watched this family owned business start from scratching two pennies together and the service has always been SUPERB! We have taken in a Moped purchased from overseas for repairs, and Ms. Jenne and her crew have kept it in the best possible running condition. We purchased a Baja Warrior from Tractor Supply ... no one wanted to mess with it - Scootique to the rescue! I special ordered a set of tires (Heidenaus scouts) on Mon they received them Thur and installed them Sat.I think you should give them a call you will see how nice and knowledgeable they are.Their mechanic fixed some small things on my bike without charge and made me aware of some things I was oblivious too.I would use them again anytime and I live about 70miles away.Well worth the ride out.Thanks guys my tires are Awsome. read more
