Staff is pleasant and knowledgeable. Most items are priced at a premium but, they are premium products, There are often good sales and a lot of items are fairly reasonable. The ladies' room could usually use a little attention and/or something in it is often broken, but I appreciate the fact that they have public restrooms available. During the pandemic when we could not enter our App student's dorm and many restaurants were closed, I'm not sure where else we might have been able to visit after driving up the mountain, and to me that is more important!! They always have a lovely selection of plants and fresh flowers at the front of the store to greet you, these made a lovely gift for our student after dance performances.

For years, my grandmother shopped there, my mother shopped there, and honestly everybody I knew shopped there. It was one of my grandmother's favorite stores, so Publix has always felt special and familiar to me. Everyone is always so friendly, the food is delicious, and their bakery... oh my goodness, the Key lime pies are AMAZING! I was so excited when Publix opened in Boone. Every time I visit my family in North Carolina, I buy four Key lime pies to fly home to Connecticut with me. The bakery staff is always so kind and helpful. They leave the pies in the bakery boxes instead of putting them in the plastic pie containers they normally sell them in, which actually makes them much easier and safer to travel with. I use a pie carrier bag, and they always make it so easy. Wonderful customer service every single time!

I got a confirmation email, but still called to confirm because the other Publix was not quite ready for me last year. The person who answered, confirmed everything and even walked over to bakery to make sure they were set. When I arrived, everything was prepared and nicely done. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the space was not that busy. The trays look exceptional and everything was packaged well. I think the prices incredibly fair for what you get. All of the guests at my event felt as though it was really quality food, and everyone left happy .
