This was honestly such a fun place to catch a game. I went on a Thursday night to watch the Toronto Raptors and the whole experience was just amazing from start to finish, especially because they got the win! The arena itself is right in the heart of downtown, so the whole area around it already feels super alive before you even walk in. There's people everywhere, jerseys, food spots nearby, and just that pre-game energy that makes it so fun. Inside, it was packed but in a good way, like full energy, loud, exciting, everyone already hyped before tip-off. I had seats in the 300 level and honestly I don't even think that's a bad thing at all. The view from up there is actually really solid, you can see the whole court properly and the energy from the crowd feels even more spread out and intense. Service-wise, everything was pretty organized. It was busy, so lines and movement around the concourse can get a bit crowded at times, but nothing unexpected for a Raptors game night. Once you're settled in your seat though, it's smooth and you can just focus on the game. Overall, I'd 100% recommend going at least once if you're in Toronto. It's not just about basketball, it's the full experience: the crowd, the energy, the location, and just being part of that atmosphere. Even from the 300s, it still feels like a really good seat. Definitely one of those experiences that's way more fun in person than on TV. read more

I am trying to visit all the NHL arenas and I have visited quite a few so far along with some NFL and MLB stadiums. This NHL arena is one of the better ones I've visited. The arena staff had the place well orchestrated from ingress to egress everything was on point especially with a large crowd a hockey game draws in. We sat in the lower bowl and the seats were large and comfortable for arena standards. They had so many food stalls you can go to, but I enjoyed the in seat food service offered, so convenient to order food and drinks straight to your seat. Our seat neighbors were so kind that they ordered a few rounds of drinks for us. Nothing beats the vibe of hockey fans especially in Canada. The atmosphere was unreal. Made me remember why I love watching hockey. I throughly enjoyed my visit to Scotiabank Arena. read more

Came to Scotiabank Arena to watch the Raptor games. It is my first time to Scotiabank Arena (February 25, 2025). I was impressed how much food options there are here. I was sitting in the upper bowl section and I can still see the game quite well eventhough I was pretty high up. I had a great time watching the game eventhough the Raptor didn't win. Scotiabank Arena was formerly known as Air Canada Center. It was built in 1941 and is located in downtown Toronto (Financial District). The best way to get there is by Transit. Driving to downtown is a pain and very costly. I took the Uber after the game and as a tip, walk a couple blocks away from the arena before booking any Uber or taxi. The roads do get blocked off after and before the game. read more

Went to Scotiabank Arena for the first time to see Keshi's Requiem tour. The venue is quite large but easy to navigate. Acoustics and sound quality were excellent and way better than a lot of other venues I've been to. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the night. There was a row of rowdy people behind us, and I noticed security tried to handle the situation calmly. Getting here was super easy since it connects directly to Union Station. Very clean space with lots of merch and concession stands. Drinks are pretty overpriced though, and I wish they had more variety available. However, you can just grab a quick bite by the Union Station food court before heading in. I was seated in Section 301, Row 4, Seats 3-5. Even from up there, the view was great and the zoom-in stage screens were super high quality. Section 300 is currently under renovation, so some areas were blocked off. My only real issue was the lighting, some of the stage lights were aimed directly at the audience multiple times, and it was very blinding. MLSE has a bag policy. They strongly discourage bringing them in. Only small purses or belt bags are allowed if they're under 16.5cm x 11.5cm (6.5" x 4.5"). I brought my Lululemon Everywhere Belt Bag Mini (18cm x 4cm x 10.5cm) and had no issues getting through. Anything larger may require their $20 bag check in. Overall, a really solid venue experience. Hockey arena #8 that I have visited. In the heart of downtown, so there's plenty of parking a few blocks from the arena. There are also plenty of restaurants and bars to hit up before or after the game. It's pretty easy to enter and exit the arena. It does only open one hour before puck drop, so the lines do get long with people lining up waiting to get in. Seats were pretty comfortable and all the fans were pretty friendly and nice. Lots of food options around the arena, but the concourses here are some of the most busiest and crowded I have been around at a hockey game. Good view of the ice from our seats. They have some good promotions and entertainment to keep the crowd entertained during breaks and the intermissions. read more

I recently went to the Janet Jackson concert. The arena is under renovations, so there were multiple entry points outside the arena. The main entrance in the galleria is close for renovations. The food inside is expensive and you have a decent variety of choices on 100 level. The 300 level they have pizza pizza and traditional arena food like hot dogs, nachos, chicken fingers etc. There are self serve outlets to buy your beer and select sandwiches like pulled pork, brisket, etc. The concert was great and most of the seats have a great view of the stage. If only tickets were more affordable like under $100 then I would be more inclined to attend more concerts. Janet Jackson was amazing and choreography was brilliant. read more

Came here for a Leafs vs Senators game in November. The tickets for sure cost a lot of money due to market size so we were expecting a nice arena. Coming inside was underwhelming due to the section of the lower concourse under construction but we went upstairs to our seats in Section 307. We were dissapointed to have such a wide section and constantly have people coming in and out every couple minutes which is hard when disabled. My beer even knocked over as there are no cup holders. Also, I notice now in the pictures that the railing and press camera blocked our view. Food and drink options are great and staff is friendly. WiFi is also speedy. Overall of the current NHL arenas I would rank this 6 out of 7. read more

I can't put my finger on why I wasn't excited about my experience to Scotiabank Arena. I was here back in 2016 for the David Gilmour concert (sat on the floor) and thought it was an amazing experience. I was eager to experience a sporting event. So we arrived right around 6:30 (shortly after gates opened) to get in. The process wasn't quick and I was badgered over bringing in a regular camera (no detachable lens or anything). I had two seats in section 115 and honestly they felt tight. Aisle seats too. Concession wise it seemed like all the major fare was present. I've been to multiple NBA arenas and this is not one I'd be in a quick rush to get back to. Unfortunately I had a very very vanilla experience. read more

I saw Trans-Siberian Orchestra on December 30th at the Scotiabank arena. Entry was quick. They do a bag check. Note they only accept small bags in the arena. At this particular show, they were not stringent on the rules, however, for younger generation shows like Dua Lipa, they are fairly strict on the bag policy. Currently the south side of the arena is under construction. If you go to the north side with the newly constructed area you can still get free tap water from the bar. They only had one merch area for this show due to construction so the line was lengthy. Drinks start at $6 for non alc and $14 for beers. I didn't check food pricing but it was expensive. They have added two areas where it is similar to the amazon self-shopping (no cashiers) and uses cameras to track movements. Only three people are allowed in at a time. The show was good but each show will have their own sound tech. The seats are not the most comfortable so be prepared for that. This is one of the few arena venues in Toronto. read more

I deduced to indulge in local Canadian hockey during a recent business trip to Toronto. Scotiabank Arena was within walking distance of my hotel and the tickets were a bit on the pricey side, but not championship team prices. The only reason to give this 4-stars is because it's a little difficult to find your way around, but when you are on the 3rd deck, just look for escalator signs and use them until you hit the 3rd level. The food was really good. I had a prime rib sandwich with kettle chips and a pickle. Prices for beer are typical sports venue, but all drinks get covers with a drink spout (hole or whatever they call it haha). The arena is very nice and well kept. It obviously gets crowed in between periods, but there are plenty of bathrooms to avoid long lines. I would come back here again for another hockey game. read more

I went to the arena to watch Raptors game. I really liked it. It's easily accessible by subway, uber or if you want to drive yourself. The parking has plenty of spots that you can use. It's well-maintained and easy to navigate inside the arena and find your seat. We had third row seats and arrived early to have dinner in premium lounge. We had our appetizers and ordered our dinner to be ready in half time. After having dinner, we ordered our desserts and went back to our seats to watch the third quarters. Giant venue, great acoustics all around! Due to the sheer size it could be hard to get to your seat, but the lovely staff are everywhere ready to answer questions and help. Location is easy to access, lots of washrooms, layout is fairly well organized and clean. Have not tried the concessions as I'm sure the same price gouging goes on here as any other stadium. Wish they had coat check - a minor point of inconvenience in winter months. read more

Wow, Canadians really love their hockey. REALLY love. I got to know this firsthand when I was in Toronto recently on a work trip and found myself squeezed into this arena at a rousing game between the hometown Maple Leafs and the Montreal Canadiens. When you're at a purely Canuck game, you better be prepared to perform all the necessary crowd moves in sync with a smile on your face. The irony was that I actually enjoyed myself quite a bit because the seats were good enough to see all the heads bashing against the lucite with alarming frequency. HOCKEY IS BACK! I went down to Scotiabank for a pre-season leaf game. Entry was quick and we showed our proof of vaccination on our phones and then went through security. At this point, they were only allowing half capacity. I found it interesting that they sold every other row vs. having seats in between? Is there a difference, I'm not sure. Not all concessions were open and it was kinda difficult to figure out what was available and what wasn't without walking around in circles. We ordered a few hot dogs that came with fries, but drinks were extra. They provided one ketchup, one mustard, and one relish with each meal so I asked for extra ketchup for the fries. Honestly, overall it wasn't a bad meal for what it was and you can tell the fries were freshly made. In between 2nd and 3rd period we wanted a hot chocolate from Tim Horton's. It took us awhile (basically the entire break) to figure out that the only open one was on the main level. Luckily we made it back in time for the start of the 3rd. Went to my very first raptors game and the vibes the fans is thrilling. You can feel the love everyone has for the team. It was a great game and the the lines weren't too long. We we're able to get our food and come back to our seats during half time with plenty of time before the game restarted.  Very convient location right near Union Station. I recommend taking the train/bus because parking downtown is always high on games days and you'll be stuck in traffic for a while My main issue is the seating, theres VERY little room. You'll basically be sitting stuck to your neighbour to wear some nice perfume. read more

There isn't really much to say about an arena. Generally it was like pretty much every arena. The line to get in wasn't horrible, and the bathrooms were decently clean. I would have bought a drink, but the lines were INSANE! I got to the show about a half hour before it started, and I'd have easily waited in line that long for a drink, so I skipped it. I do have to say though, I had an awesome seat. Tickets for Backstreet Boys were absurdly expensive, and I found a single seat on the seating chart that appeared to have an opening or something in front of it. It did, and it was a staircase to go downstairs, and it was absolutely wonderful for me because there was no one in front of my seat! I am short, and everyone stands for the show, and I could see the whole time! :) If you ever get the chance to see Backstreet Boys, go see them. They're amazing! If you're going to this arena, I'd recommend getting a hotel. Traffic was awful, and I was glad I could just walk back to my hotel afterwards. As the saying goes, "When in Rome do as the Romans do." So... I attended a Toronto Maple Leafs game at Scotiabank Arena. Patrick Marleau got traded from the Sharks to the Leafs, and of course, it was only proper that I brought my Marleau Sharks jersey. But hey, I was a Leafs fan for the night and totally cheered them on against the Flames. Anyway, I digress. Scotiabank Arena was awesome! Oddly enough the vibes made me feel like I was in my own hometown arena. Scotiabank Arena admittedly was much nicer though (sorry, SAP Center). As a foreigner to the arena, I found that it was easy to navigate. Bathrooms were super clean. The lighting and signage inside the arena really made everything pop out and look so vibrant and lively. There were tons of food stands to choose from, so there weren't long queues. There was a huge bar in the arena with a great selection of beers. It was also a full bar, so you could get whatever cocktails you wanted. Scotiabank Arena had some of the best food items on the menu I've seen at any concessions area of an arena. I was totally blown away by the prime rib sandwich! There was a visible carving station so you know that the sandwich was freshly made-to-order. I was highly impressed that this sandwich was made available to everyone at the Scotiabank Arena. At the SAP Center, you could only get a prime rib sandwich if you have a lower premium ticket with access to the club level. The prime rib sandwich was delicious, and even more so when I drenched that sucker in horseradish. I also tried the poutine. It was solid but not nearly as delectable as the prime rib sandwich, because it only had cheese curds on the top. read more

The "Scotiabank Arena" as I guess it'll be called for now has been the host to many events I've enjoyed over the year - Leafs and Raptors games, concerts including Incubus and the Trans Siberian Orchestra, and other events put on like Walking With Dinosaurs. It really does feel like home in a sense since I've been here so many times. One really great thing is that if you're taking transit (TTC or GO) to Union Station, you can get to the arena without ever leaving the indoors which does often matter in the rainy or snowy weather. While you're walking over, I suggest you grab something to eat outside if you have time since the prices are expensive. If you're desperate inside for a cheap beverage, Tim Hortons is definitely your most affordable option with their prices at par with those outside the arena. In terms of Raptors games, they are super hot right now so getting into the arena is kind of a mess. It also doesn't matter where you enter in relation to your seats. Just be aware that some of the lines are long and snaking but might be for seasons ticket holders only so keep a look out for signs indicating which line is which. Once you're inside, there are a ton of different food options. There are smaller On The Run kiosks that have drinks and popcorn and Pizza Pizza has a few locations throughout but most are stadium branded places that specialize in different areas like mac and cheese, dessert, or hot dogs. One great thing is that you can order from your seat with the arena's mobile app. A server will bring your order directly to you. Note that last call for alcohol is near the end of the 3rd quarter. The seats are alright. They're comfortable enough but lack a bit in leg room. If people want to get by, it's probably easiest to stand up and let them through if that gives you a better picture of how squishy it is. In terms of viewing, it's alright for Raptors games. If the person in front of you is leaning forward however, your view definitely becomes impaired so that could be improved upon. As of right now, the bag policy is pretty generous here. Many of the stadiums in the states only allow tiny or clear bags. The Scotiabank Arena's only requirement is that bags be less than 14" X 14" X 6" and be able to fit under your seat. All in all there's nothing better than seeing your team's logo on the hardwood (or ice). Wouldn't miss a game here! read more

Went here for a Justin Timberlake concert last night and there was a delay in letting us in. Instead of 6:30pm they let us in at 7:00pm which was painful as we had to stand outside in 34° weather. Once inside there was lots of food and drink options, of course at a premium price. I didn't see any soft pretzels for same which are my favorite. The restrooms for men didn't have many stalls which was surprising, one of them had no way to lock the door. We sat in the end of the arena, at the top of section 101, row 29, which was pretty good but the seats are very narrow, not much elbow room. I think for a better view the best choice would have been rows 10-15 in the middle of the arena in the 100s. Thankfully Justin's stage was made up of a long catwalk which gave everyone a good view. The audio had a bit too much bass and not that clear. Exiting the arena was a bit chaotic with no clear wide exits. There was some pushing and shoving. read more

A great night out at the Air Canada Centre for the Raptors game. A great team, made all the more fun with actvities, such as t-shirt cannons, giant inflatable Raptors, cheerleaders and music. All of this serves to keep the folks engaged. Having one these particular tickets through a work auction for United Way, I was really impressed with the seats. Even from the upper bowl you can still get a great view of the entire court and scoreboard for replays. You would want to make sure you don't have any items to drink or eat with you, as a fairly strict security check found a can of non alcoholic Heineken brew some marketing kids were handing out just outside their doors. I had to toss that one out (made up for with a complementary can of Red Bull on the way out). Prices for food and drink are obscene. A dried up bag of popcorn was over $7.00 and a bottle of ice tea was $6.25 plus tax and tip. The gentleman offered unlimited popcorn forn$14.00 for the night. A good gift for the colon. I guess after shelling out $100.00 for nosebleeds and extra few sheckles won't hurt! Please don't mention cost of the beer, as you would need an accountant tondo an affordability audit of your personal finances. Great sight lines and nice venue all around. They really have thought out crowd control best they can and seem to always have an abundance of staff to keep things moving. We got tickets to the boxes up top thanks to UPS company invites. The staff were incredibly friendly despite the sight chaos. The amenities were fantastic and facilities were great! We had a lovely evening enjoying our first full Raptors game! Amazing AV teams as well! Very convenient location for commuters, but horrible for those driving. You can expect to pay quite a fee for parking so I recommend people just take public transit down to Union station and avoid that hassle all together if possible. It's super easy and if you're coming via GO or TTC Subway, you won't even have to go outside. For those rushing after work from a whole other City, I'm afraid it's hard to avoid unless you park further away and transit over. read more

Very impressive structure. Must visit place if you are transiting via union station. There are lots of security guards around who are very helpful and politely answers our questions. Ask directions for the Great Hall and you will be transported back in time. The hall is grand! The high ceilings are amazing and the boxy art work in the ceilings are awesome to look at. It's hard to imagine this same hall was used 100s of years before our time. Walking nearby, you will find some historic looking shops. It really does feel like a travel back to historic times.
