One of his staff has vertigo, and she would, graciously, assist Dr. Sheets with my care during my visits, which was comforting. Life changing events over the past couple of years, resulted in my not seeing Dr. Sheets for care during that time. A couple of months ago, I called to make an appointment with Dr. Sheets, and I was told that Dr. Sheets will no longer see me, because I would be considered a new patient again. He is one of the only dentists I know of who cares for patients who have vertigo, and this is very disappointing. Hopefully, he will reconsider.

We spent 8 hours at the dentists office. I put up with it because they were supposedly covered 100% by insurance. After the appointment I was told I could go but later received a bill for over $200. When I called about it the joke of an "office manager" continued to tell me how the cleaning was so much more intense then any other cleaning. Really? Then why was it exactly like every other cleaning I have ever received? She also said that we had talked about the price and she was sure they had told me it would be more. I'm so glad they wanted me to come back in two weeks and I said no. I will NEVER go back to such a terrible place. Don't lie to your customers and try to get more money then you deserve. I would tell anyone to go somewhere before picking this place. They deserve zero stars.

I called and scheduled a new patient cleaning after confirming they do take my insurance. I was not…read moretold that they don't do the cleaning the first appointment. My previous experience (Indiana dentist) led me to believe I was getting my teeth cleaned, as when they asked what the appointment was for I said to get my teeth cleaned and checked. I filled out paperwork before arriving, and also provided my insurance card upon check in. I got my X-rays, and then waited for the doc for about 20 minutes, after he looked me over I sat, 2 hours I wait for them to do a check for gingivitis that took 4 minutes and then send me up to the office manager, who THEN tells me they can't verify my insurance or tell me what the cost of the visit is. Two and a half hours after I checked in. Then wanted me to schedule with them not knowing if they take my insurance or cost of services. That is illegal since the no surprises act was passed. If my insurance couldn't be verified, I should have been presented with cost PRIOR to services being administered. I'm canceling my families appointments for next week. Now I will have to pay out of pocket at the next dentist bc they used my one a year that was covered. As someone who works in Medical Insurance billing I'm embarrassed at how the billing staff handled everything start to finish.

I went in for my regular cleaning and after starting the periodontal charting, Dr. Garcia came in…read moreand decided I needed a deep cleaning treatment. I recently had this procedure done at my prior dentist and was not impressed and did not want it done again. She also told me I needed a laser treatment as well that is also not covered by my insurance. Before the hygienist started my cleaning, she tried selling me a water pic which I told her I wasn't interested. Then she told me that she would wait to do my cleaning so I could come back for the deep cleaning! I insisted that I was there for my cleaning and I want it done. She reluctantly did a quick cleaning. Then when I tried to schedule my six month cleaning, they REFUSED! She told me that is not how they do things and that once my insurance gave them an estimate, I would have to schedule the "recommended" procedure first. The dentist and hygienist both spend more time selling me products and services then they do working on my teeth. They have a nice new office with state of the art equipment. I'm sure this how they are paying for it!

DO NOT GO HERE FOR WISDOM TEETH REMOVAL!!!…read more Went in here for a consultation a couple months ago and not only was I there well over an hour for a consultation (Dr. Huwaiss only examined my mouth) for crown lengthening and wisdom teeth removal, he also charged me $140 for doing nothing. No X-rays, nothing (Sonneborne send the over)! They were also going to charge me about $835 per wisdom tooth, if you need your wisdom teeth removed I recommend Dr. Sorrow, they will not only charge you a fraction of the price, but they are very thorough about the removal process and even told me what I'd have to pay up front with my insurance coverage which they did not do at Dr. Huwais' office.
